They did an IP check, and if the mods say that they are all the same person, than it is.

I find it sad. Goes to show you what type of person savemarvel is.

no savemarvel , themansaid, trapjaw and nuttyfruitcake, it does NOT go against our privacy policy to reveal that you're all the same person, especially if you're talking to yourself or trying to back yourself up.

In fact, I don't think we even have a privacy policy

And it wouldn't have taken a mod to figure out you're all the same person, either. Four brand new, recently registered posters with low post counts all in the same thread all holding the same position, all posting one right after another? Yeah, you don't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure that one out.

Guys,
As cofounder of this site, I've been here from day ONE...
And it's been my experience that anyone with more than one name is generally up to no good!

Signing up multiple names to simply 'talk to yourself' could be concidered spam and can & will get you probation or banned... not to mention loosing all your names...

As far as a 'privacy policy' there really isn't one outside of the posting of PMs: see FAQ: (Private messages between two people must be kept private unless both parties obtain written permission. (Written permission must be provided in case of any discrepancy.) Violation of this rule results in deletion of the post/s, a warning, and/or possible probation. Repeated violation of this rule may result in another probation, prolonged probation, or banning.)

It's an un-written rule and common sense that the posting of another posters private info, phone number, address, photos etc... without permission could get you probation and banned...

If a MOD feels it necessary to post that a certain user has multiple names in an effort to curb his continued spamming and disruptive behavior, then that is up to the MOD to do so...

LETS GET BACK ON TOPIC - If you have any further questions PM me!

PLAY NICE!

STOP HIJACKING MY THREAD with all the arguing!

This thread is about fans who HATE the current direction of Spidey yet continue to buy... not the ones who like it and continue to buy.

They should have a say, too.

ahh savemarvel and all his alias'....how sad.

honestly, it all makes sense now!

what a revelation!!!!

tsk, tsk, tsk savemarvel.

Nice way to put it EXCELSIOR

MyPokerShirt, I agree that Spider-Man is the best spin-off. People should just read Spider-Man to get a better picture of Civil War. The Wolverine spin-off is great too, IMO. I really like how
Namor and the Atlantians have come to seek revenge for Namorita's death. Namor is just cool.

Yeah
Namor
is uber cool!

Oh and I agree with Pokershirt, too- Spidey is the best spin off. It's so unbiased...it tells both sides to the story because that's what Spidey himself is considering.

A great plot device.

I cant' believe this thread is still going.

I think the storyline is an obvious stunt, but who cares if some Spidey fans continue to buy it and some don't. It'll be fixed eventually, which makes this whole thing even lamer, imo, (but i DOpersonally want it "fixed") but some will ride it out and some fans will rejoin later when they get what they see as "their Spidey" back. We all have choices.

I personally DON'T see at all how it is within continuity or character for Spider-Man to act this way but everyone here has read Spidey for their own amount of time and see him differently i suppose....even Savemarvel or whomever. lol

Even more, those that DO like the unmasking and other "questionable tales" of late....it does not make them "marvel zombies". Just as those that are not liking it are not hating it because they are "closed minded".

It is just based on your view, i think, of Spider-Man and who he is/was, and meant to you over your personal years of reading.

Are there some people out there who are marvel zombies? Sure.
Are there some people who are closed minded? Sure.

I'm glad there are lots of Spidey fans...that accounts for the movies and other great Spidey entertainment stuff we continue to have opportunites to see, read or collect.

I'm not continuing to buy current stuff right now...but, I'm continuing to buy other Spidey graphic novels, stories, and such I havent' read yet... and using this time to read other Spidey stuff until they make this current stuff right, ..that's just me.

Maybe I'll pick up some of these current unamsking/civil war trades later and read them when i am less emotionally bothered/attached by them. I hated X-Files season 8 and 9 when Mulder left...was so mad....BUT now re-watching the episodes years later, they're really quite GOOD. Doggett was a great character.

So.......We'll see.

I know what you mean by being "attached" to them. I find myself sometimes getting too caught up in it all. If something totally shocking happens, I'm in shock for the rest of the day. If something super sad happens, I'm sad the rest of the day.

My word, I am into this stuff too much.

I had reservations about the unmasking, but now I'm digging the possibility of all the subplots. Friendships and alliances will change, possibly permanently. And maybe other heroes will view Spidey differently.

I still can't wrap my mind around the new costume, but at least it's tight.

The new costumes cool, but MAN DO I EVER WANT TO SEE SPIDEY IN HIS CLASSIC THREADS FIGHTING A GENUINE BADDY!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing #534 went a bit of a ways toward redeeming this whole thing, w/Spidey questioning his own actions & Tony's as well.
