It was world's greatest comic magazine. Not now. In fact, it hasn't been for atleast 15 years.

But don't worry. Fox will spoil every good bit with onslaught of TV spots and trailers from July onwards.

well we can't have it both ways. Either we ultimately accept the movie for what it is and allow a healthy discussion and speculation between the opposing camps, or the movie can be continued to be crapped on through incessant negativity in the hopes of getting more people to boycott the film, and getting the rights reverted.

I don't see anybody not being "allowed" to have a healthy discussion. I see a marketing effort by Fox that is so weak that nobody is really interested in talking about it.

Unless you can find this quote, I wish you'd stop making this claim. I read just about every post on this forum and I've never seen such a claim by anyone here.

As others have asked, can you find the posts of people here saying they would boycott the film because of Trank's alleged substance abuse?

I know when the rumour broke I said if it were true (that he'd allegedly been stoned on set specifically) I'd think Trank was being utterly unprofessional, but that was it.

My reasons for not seeing this go far beyond any rumour.

Sooo. Anyway..... A friend told me the F4 teaser trailer is being shown before Insurgent in theatres now. Any others anyone knows of? I think once AOU is released and that press has died down, we will see new/more F4 advertising.

I believe the new F4 trailer will hit late April, early May.

We have so many different fandoms arguing at each other that it results into people behaving like that, people attacking Singer and refusing to see the X-Men and further demanding the X-Men to be brought back to Marvel and whatnot wacky attacks. Please, find us an example where someone isn't seeing this film JUST because of this reason... or something to indicate it's a top priority...

because i've been in this forum way longer than you, and have seen no such thing. Have people dissed him over it? sure... but no one has said "I'm not seeing this film because Trank is a mess"

Wow...that poster pretty much sums the production up perfectly.
As does the re-use of the tagline from X1.

Oh my, if this is what I think it is, this is really pathetic. Look at the poster and tell me they didn't colorize the costumes. We've been hearing this rumor that they went for the "classic" costumes, and low and behold this poster comes up with what clearly looks like light and dark blue versions of the containment suits. So did they just go into Avid and add a color layer to the outfits?

Again, I don't know if I should be happy for this, or if the studio has just stepped in and taken everything over because they are so unhappy with Trank's work, that they are changing all of it.

There will be no change in costumes. It's just the dark blue lightning (photoshop) of the poster that makes the costumes look like blue color. The costumes will remain the same as in the trailer.
