Hopefully future Fast and Furious films can cast more than one black woman for more than one movie. How is that this franchise, with its hip hop feel to it only able to land Nathalie Emmanuel for multiple movies? There's what: Cardi B in a cameo in F9 and probably more I am forgetting. It doesn't have to be a major black actress like Rosario Dawson or Zoe Saldana or Tessa Thompson, as it could be a relative unknown looking for their big break.

For a movie that preaches diversity among its cast, only having one black woman appear for multiple movies in this franchise is a mistake. Could they not cast a relative unknown and give her a major role and work alongside Nathalie? If they continue on after 11, hopefully they fix this problem.

I blame Vin Diesel for that, and the three women (Rosario Dawson, Zoe Saldana, Tessa Thompson) I mentioned in my last post I think would make great additions to the cast for multiple movies. All three would bring the same physicality to the role that they cast Charlize Theron in. Instead all we get is Nathalie Emmanuel as the lone black woman of the entire franchise. I would not have minded if they brought Cardi B back for F10, because she does fit the franchise, but they didn't even do that and I don't even know why that is.

And the Brie Larson role in the last one could have been used to cast a black actress.
