You're welcome. If you like what you see, then give it a shot and watch the rest in order, just to see how the franchise evolved. Is pretty interesting.

Will do if it appeals to me. :) It's never really seemed my thing, but I'm just trying to see as many 2015 films not too long after they came out so that I don't end up with a bunch to get through at the end of the year and I have an opportunity to see this coming up.

Looking at the comparative RT scores of the last three films, I find myself scratching my head.

Me and a friend were talking about this. My guess is, the more over the top, crazy, out of this world the franchise gets, the more people love it.

It's best if you watch all of them of course, but they really change with the fifth movie. So, you may not like what you see in parts 1-4 but love parts 5-7.

they was very little character in the early ones. people like people.

Yeah "family" became the central theme in Fast Five and no matter how crazy or over the top each successive film has gotten that simple down-to-earth theme of "family" remains. That's why people love these films and dont mind the craziness.

And after Furious Seven's insanely respectful send off of Paul and Brian I think this franchise has people wrapped around its little finger.

The team are going to New York in 2017...you all know what this means...Spiderman/Fast and Furious cross-over!

I think Universal will move Pacific Rim 2 off its April 7, 2017 date and put F&F8 there.

I know it was inevitable. But still, doesn't feel right to continue without Paul.

Like I've said before, I'm with the Fast franchise until the end. Let's go.

Wonder who they will get to direct. Sounds like Wan only wanted to do one. Too bad Justin Lin couldn't come back. He's the one who really took the franchise to another level.

Universal has an option on him for a second movie, but they let him go to do The Conjuring 2. They could still exercise that option and have him return.

One thing I was wondering, is the version "See you again" used at the end of the movie slightly different to the one that was released?

I'm not gonna lie, I just watched this parody Superfast! and it was actually pretty damn funny. I actually laughed out loud a few times. I would recommend it for fans of the series even if it's pretty dumb overall. Everyone who plays the main roles do great though, especially the Rock's character. Paul Walker's character was hilarious too, and Vin Diesel's as well

That's a surprise.

Hey, I knew some people would give me some flack for it but I'm just being honest, I was cracking up through a lot of it. Maybe it's because the actual Fast movies have been so exhausted and almost a parody of itself at this point seeing a full-on parody was fun. They even made fun of how Dom is damn near indestructible at this point and had him catching bullets with his teeth :funny: His secret handshake with the Vince parody character was funny too :hehe:

It's not a hilarious movie or very good, but watchable, especially for fans who know the franchise like the back of their hand. If it was on Netflix, I'd say check it out.

I get that, it explains the TF success in various ways. But who knew it applied to these critics as well.

NOt to be cold but the show must go on.

I mean let's say it wasn't a movie, but an important member of a sales team dies; do they shut down the company? Nah you have to keep going. There are companies where even the CEO dies and they keep the company going.

Other people's jobs depend of the F&F franchise, they can't end it for one guy.

They ended the Brian/Mia storyline. Dom and the others may not be done, and I think they'll add some new cast members (to repeat: one of them better be Helen Mirren).

So watched a few of these people suggested and then this one. This was okay. I don't think it was anything more or less than that, just okay.
