Incredibly impressive. Though it is about to be joined by AoU. The new international market is crazy.

This is so unbelievable. I cannot believe this has grossed more than 1.3 billion. Good for them, they deserve it. Just wow. The Universal execs must be stunned with disbelief.

No offense. It's a great romp and the ending was very sad.

I can't help but feel some of the billion dollar success was because of seeing Walkers last role.

It's exactly like Heath Ledger's situation.

I think Mark Wahlberg would make a great Older Brother to Brain O conner if they wanto keep the O Conner name?

The day Marky Mark walks into this franchise is the day I walk out. Just the thought of a Walhlberg character running around with the team makes me shudder.

Honestly I'd prefer that to seeing Tyrese come back again.

Helen Mirren can be Doms mom. Not once has Dom mentioned mom in these movies I believe

Rotten Tomatoes is losing more and more credibility, that mediocre movies like this one have a higher RT score than truly good movies is ridiculous:

Furious 7: 82% (Average Rating: 6.7/10)

Interstellar: 72% (7/10)

Oscar winning films:

Braveheart: 78% (7.2/10)
Gladiator: 76% (7.2/10)
A Beautiful Mind: 75% (7.2/10)

See how the other movies have a higher average rating, which is more reliable and makes more sense than the infamous RT score. Furious 7 deserves that 6.7/10, it represents what it is better than the RT score. Rotten Tomatoes should eliminate its RT score and just use the more reliable average rating instead.

If you don't like it, don't need to watch these so called "mediocre" movies. I hate how some people think they know best on what people "should" like. Let people enjoy what they want.

Vintage post right here. It wouldn't be SHH without it.

So where is your argument that RT is unreliable? The tomato score represents the proportion of critics that liked the movie, and that's exactly what the site does. If you want to use the tomato score as an indication of ultimate quality, that's on you. Besides, if you agree with the average rating, what's the problem? Use the average rating.

People like to **** on IMDb and RT but both sites do exactly as advertised. IMDb represents the general opinion of internet users, mostly the 18-25 demographic. If a movie's got a 4,9 rating, chances are it is in fact ****. If a movie's got a 7,8 rating, chances are it's at least pretty good. That's how you should use IMDb, IMO.

No way. They need to bring in young blood as well as someone who can be part of an ensemble. This isn't Expendables.

The team needs new blood for sure. But I definitely want Stallone there to pass the torch to Vin and The Rock as a villain.

Eh I love Stallone and Arnold as much as the next guy, but there's no torch to be passed. Vin and Rock have clearly shown they are action stars.

I don't know if you could have Stallone and Vin Diesel in the same movie, sharing a discussion without needing subtitles for it.

It's pass/fail and only designed to be a gauge So if 10 people saw Interstellar and 4 of them thought it was ths best film lf the year. 3 people thought it was pretty good while the other 3 didn't care for it. It'd get a 70%. The same 10 people then see Furious 7 . 3 of them thought it was an amazing film. 6 of them thought it was fairly enjoyable. The last person absolutely hates it. The film would get a 90%.

See?

A Rotten Tomatoes score should never be viewed at face value. The actual reviews are what actually matter.

Wow. I usually jokingly say that Dom is a superhero but he truly is now. He is holding onto an airplane and has an actual ride at a theme park. That is transcendence.

Not only that, when comparing to the helicopter in the background, Dom's reach is so boss-like he can hold on to the skids of that aircraft and the wing at the same time. He's practically a monster at this point.
