I wonder if that will show up in Orlando ?

Probably not. The Fast and Furious Ride is apart of the Hollywood Studio Tour that they have. It's just like how the King Kong ride they have now is exclusive to the Hollywood studios theme park.

The whole franchise is outlandish and cartoonish. That's apart of the charm ha.

Haha yeah, I realized too late after I posted that the whole franchise has become like that. They're all pretty much cartoon characters but if Tyrese comes back, they should pull the reins a bit otherwise he could end up as the Jar Jar of the franchise.

For part 8 I'd like to see Dom and his crew getting recruited by the new head of the agency Russell's character was in charge of (because they want to use an expendable team with no real connections to their agency on file or something). Dom and his crew have to transport some cargo but are ambushed and set up to make it look like they stole the cargo. So now they're on the run. I want it to be like a highspeed chase with them being outlaws again. Dom, Letty, Tej, Rome, Ramsey, bring in Mendes' character from 2F2F and of course Hobbs, tone down the superhero stunts and we're good.

Even if it gets to the third spot, Ill be surprised if AOU doesnt bump it back down to #4.

I watched this last Thursday. It was so bad. I was actually surprised by how bad it was. A few fun moments, especially with the Rock and Statham, but God was this bad. The music to induce emotion. :funny:

Im so happy for this film. I cant believe its made this much money. It also shows that you don't need to be a superhero franchise to make a boat ton of money.

I think they should start wrapping up the franchise. Make 8 the set up and 9 the finale to the series. I've loved it since the first movie and now with Brian out, I think they should start to right the end of Dom's arc.

I also hope Jordana Brewster can cameo in the next movie. I've always liked her

Furious Seven has made $1.4 billion. It is the fourth highest grossing film in history...this franchise isnt foing anywhere anytime soon. No modern studio makes that sort of money off a film and thinks, "Yeah we should probably make a plan to end this franchise."I expect it to at least go to #10. And Vin is so loyal and appreciative of fans that he is unlikely to stop playing Dom anytime soon.

They're very close to the 10th film, if they want to set up an end point but also get as much money as they can from the brand, they could look at that one as the end point.

Maybe they can even milk more money by dividing the final story in two parts, then they could advertise The Fast and the Furious X.

By the way, what does everyone think about those proposed spin-offs? They seemed to be talking a bit about them before, strange that they haven't mentioned them since Furious 7's release considering how successful it was. To be honest, something only focusing on a character like Hobbs would feel a bit too much like just another generic star vehicle action movie. Only spin-off i think would bring anything new would be Tokyo Drift 2, as it would pretty much be its oun series of films more like the first three, where the focus remains on street racing.

I know that Furious 7 isn't the last one. I'm just saying that they should plan for about 2 more. If they want 10 could be the finale because Fast X is just too tempting of a title

Hell, I already know I'm going to watch all of them.

^ I thought they already announced that they've contracted up 'til ten? Or was that a rumour?

I'm glad to report that I've still not gotten a chance to see this, maybe I just don't care or I don't want to lose 2 hours of my life.

I agree. I gave Fast 5 an 8/10, Furious 6 a 7/10, and Furious 7 a 4/10.
