Days of Future Past Favorite Badass: Jackman's Wolverine or Fassbender's Magneto?

Fassneto all the way.

No contest, Fassbender.

Wolvie all the way!!! He took out a bunch of soldiers all by himself in a mansion and he went on a rampage in the woods in x3

Fassbender did so much horrific **** in First Class there is absolutely no contest.

Magbender. :woot: [BLACKOUT]He could've easily downed all those ships if Charles hadn't stopped him.[/BLACKOUT]

Fassbender. Wolverine has never killed anyone with german currency.

Fassbender's Magneto. I mean, wow, the guy owned the role.

Now imagine what would happen if Jackman's Wolverine met Fassbender's Magneto rather than Ian McKellan's Magneto. Fassbender would slaughter Jackman hand over fist.

I really wanna say Jackerine... but Fassneto is retro!

They did meet and uh
Jackman -1
Fassbender-0

Fassbender is way more bad ass though but cmon it's magenta. Magneto always been> wolverine.

Fassbender. He actually embodied Magneto somewhat. Jackman never did that with Wolverine, IMO.

What! Oh please, Jackman owned the role as Wolverine. Extremely close to the comics. The only main difference should or could complain about is the height issue. I know The Wolverine movie wasn't well recieved by fans but that was more history mangling then anything being off with who Logan is personality wise.

Magneto has always been a badass...Even starting with the first movie.

I can still remember the applause and reaction in the theater when Magneto broke out of his plastic prison in X2...

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine basically became more and more like Hugh Jackman over time. The closest he got to getting the character was in X1. In X3 he was more of a hybrid of Cyclops and Wolverine. By the Wolverine film the supposedly animalistic killer was making friends all over the place and acting like a really nice guy.

Thank you!!!

Fassbender's Magneto by a long chalk.

Fassbender's Magneto hasn't been ruined yet.

Jackmans Wolverine was too watered down (something I hope the correct in The Wolverine). Fassbender was total bad ass. Case in point the scene in the bar Argentina. Not only did he take out those three guys, but he did it with style and charm...total badass.

Fassbender's Magneto for sure. Everything he did was just sick! But it's hard to compare the two since their stories and reasoning for their characters in the films are so different.

X2 Wolverine was a badass though. If Singer had been heavily involved with X-Men Origins: Wolverine like he was with First Class, Jackman's character would have been off the charts awesome and badass

I have to disagree. Even at his most Wolvie-like(X1) I only ever saw him as just adequet. Much like I see Maguire's Spidey or Keaton's Batman. They just never fully embodied those characters. There were just doing good enough work in the roles.

Fassbender owned the Magneto role much more than Jackman ever could with Wolverine.

And the height thing is secondary. Sure, it would have been nice. But I'm just talking about the internal character traits. Jackman was just never quite mean enough to own the Wolverine character. Wasn't Wolverine as a character based on Eastwood's Dirty Harry? Yeah, Jackman fell short. He'd have made a better Dr. Strange, IMO.
