Days of Future Past Favourite moment in DOFP

Can't choose, so many good ones.

But if I had to, probably Magneto's redemption moment in the future and Logan's "happy" future. Loved those.

Mine were:

1.)Quicksilver taking out the guards

2.) Young Xavier talking to Old Xavier

3.) Young Xavier telling Wolverine he's on acid.

4.) Wolverine asking Magneto to "clean this ***** up"

5.) Wolverine taking out those thugs.

6.) Magneto using the stadium as a barricade to the white house.

7.) Magneto saying "So much for being a survivor" to Wolverine.

8.) Wolverine telling Cyclops "It's good to see you Scott" haha he looked like he meant it too.

9.) Iceman's Ice slide. It was so cool seeing that on the big screen for the first time.

Tie between Quicksilver in the kitchen and young Xavier meeting old Xavier. Just pure brilliance, both scenes, but in very different ways.

- The shocking character deaths in the future (very brutal).
- QuickSilver, Blink and Storm
- My mother once knew a guy...

Conflict between Eric and Charles
- We were supposed to protect them
- Eric was right. / We need you to hope again. / All those years wasted fighting each other charles.

Charles and Logan
- I don't want you fjuuutjah
- You poor, poor man.

Comment from Beast:
- I told you there was no professor.

And SO MUCH more.

Everything. I **** you not. I haven't had this satisfying a movie experience since TDKR, or arguably even TDK.

A few specific ones for now though - Future Magneto silently walking out to face down the Sentinels as Charles watches him leave. Getting stabbed ( :( ) and then creating the shrapnel barrier for the door. Cyclops returns. Past Magneto loses his **** at Charles. Past Magneto lifts the stadium. "Whiiiipplaaassh". Mystique vs the Peace Council (whatever). The Future X-Men arrive at the temple.

But seriously. Everything.

The X2 theme in the opening credits.

Every superhero (or superhero team) needs a theme tune, and it was a shame that Ratner abandoned it for X3. Fantastic to hear it again.

The X2 Theme leading into the future in Moscow. Loved that whole bit and the opening was all kinds of epic.

But my one fav fav bit is where Magneto after being stabbed says to Charles all those years wasted fighting each other, and they shake hands. And the sentinels storm in. Ellen, Ian and Patrick were amazing in that scene. Their faces show everything. And as Mystique lowers her gun, they disappear. I get goosebumps thinking about it.

One of my fave scenes was Quicksilver running on the walls and taking those guards out. I was smiling throughout that entire scene. Just awesome.

I LOVED the Plane scene. One question though, where was the X-Jet in the 70's past scenes, wouldn't they be flying that instead of a normal plane. I can't remember what happened to the X-Jet at the end of First Class, was it destroyed?

If so, they probably might rebuild it for Apocalypse.

I think it crashed on the beach next to the sub.

- return of the X2 theme song.

- Blink doing her thing was awesome.

- Quicksilver handling of the guards.

- confirmation at the end that X3 never happened.

So many great parts. Quicksilver was great. Iceman (who I think could've evolved into a great leader for the X-Men if they planned on continuing with the old cast...which they don't seem to be doing.). Magneto past and present.

I loved the inclusion of the old film footage in the Paris sequence when the mutants essentially announce themselves to the world.

I gotta agree with one of the posters above literally everything lol. The favorites off the top of my head include:

Past and future Charles meet

The entire opening sequence in the future

Wolverine waking up in the past.

Everything QS

Mystique seeing those pictures of experimented mutants. It really made her need to kill trask very justifiable

Magneto and Charles past and present in nearly every scene

Beast going after Magneto

Magneto stadium trick, reminded me exactly how powerful he truly is. It also maybe think he could pull off Asteriod M

The entire sequence in the future with the sentinels closing in.

Magneto silently facing down the Sentinels at the end. Also, the handshake he and Charles share at the end.

Quicksilver's scenes were really good too.

The meeting of the two Xaviers.

So I think we've just about covered every moment now :funny:

Lol, yeah. This thread made me realise how great Sir Ian McKellen was in this movie though. He looked great visually, the scene of him walking towards to door was great and yes: "So many years wasted fighting eachother Charles..."

Charles and Logan in Cerebro
Logan telling Charles to bring the X-Men together
Beast tearing at the Sentinel with his claws and mouth
Magneto's speech
Changed future--Cyclops lives!

This thread just made me wanna go see the movie again :D

Quicksilvers scene where he takes out the guards at his pace while the rest of the room is basically frozen in time was and still is hands down my favorite "cool" moment from any superhero movie ever. They nailed it, pure perfection from him tasting food, laughing at himself as he pushes the guards cheek, and Jim Croces tunes was absolutely the perfect song to place in that moment. Kudos

Charles and Erik on the plane. Just the tension, the build up, the acting...amazing.

The whole movie.:o:woot: Seriously, the scene in the plane between Eric and Xavier. That was intense and beautifully acted too!

Definitely the Quicksilver scene was the best part of the movie...nothing comes close.
