I could get you some of that $150 stretch mark cream I sold ladies at GNC that didn't work lol

hahaha...dont they have like some kind a lazer treatment that helps with cellulite and stretch marks or am i imagining that?

Nothing will get rid of stretch marks. I don't mind mine, they aren't dark or super blatant :yay:

Personally I never understood why some guys are so grossed out by them. They don't bother me at all. I've heard some guys talk about them as if stretch marks ooze puss or something. :funny:

Too much shallowness going on.

:funny:

Exsqueeze me? Stubble on guys' chins is WAY more painful than hair anywhere else on the body. :o We got nothing on you! :funny:

Or stubble somewhere else if you shaved recently and I don't mean your face.

I blame airbrushing in porn/magazines. I think it leads some people to believe that there are women out there who have super smooth and unmarked skin all over their entire bodies :oldrazz:

It probably depends on your definition of "fattie," but I have no problem with a few extra pounds.

This statement confirmed for me what i have thought for a while, that you are one of the nicest, most open minded people on the superherohype.

But someone being so obese that they have trouble walking is definitely a turn-off.

But this..this is just very shallow indeed, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Very true.

That's why I don't bother with that area. :funny:

Just like all women should have perky DD breasts and plump lips? :funny:

It leads dumb people to believe that stuff. The intelligent, sane people know it's a fantasy and that it's not real.

:funny: I walk fast and whoever I'm with should be able to keep up with me! :oldrazz:

I just think it's crazy how there's just alot of deceit in womans magazines, products, etc.

Like all the airbrushing, makeup, push up bras, butt pads...it's insane. I like a girl who can pull off the natural look.

Yeah and people aren't taught to consider that. I had serious self-esteem issues in HS and even college because I really believed that I was too skinny to ever be considered hot, and then it turned out that nearly all of the VS models (which are like, the mainstream definition of hot, right?) are just as thin and flat as I am. They're just pushed up and then airbrushed to the max. Don't even get me started on makeup advertisements.

Well, I still don't think I could ever be hot, but that's because I have the wrong mindset for it. I'd probably burst out laughing every 10 seconds while wearing a hot outfit. :funny:

Oh I wish I had plump lips! Mine are pretty thin :( Oh well, they're pretty sometimes :fhm:

I'd probably burst out laughing every 10 seconds while wearing a hot outfit. :funny:
What's your definition of a hot outfit, out of curiosity? I bet you'd look really gorgeous even though you might feel silly :) Don't be afraid to try things out - we are, after all, our own worst critic.

Awwww....I bet you're fine Anita. I bet you're way more beautiful than you think you are. Plus if you can be charming it helps out a lot and is a nice added bonus. I hope you own atleast a couple of nice beautiful "hot" outfits.

I absolutely agree with Harls. Gitls definitely are their own worst critic. I bet you're a beautiful female...just keep a positive attitude about it. :yay::csad:

Plump lips works on some women, while thin lips work on others. Like Angelina Jolie and Kate Hudson, who are both gorgeous. :fhm: When it's natural, it always finds a way to work out well.

It's when thin-lipped women try to plump up their lips with injections that it starts to get .

I feel ridiculous wearing push-up bras now, or like, knee-high boots or smokey eyes or something. It just doesn't feel like me. It feels silly. :funny:

Oh no, it's not that. I know I can clean up really nicely if I had to dress up. Good thing about being lanky and skinny, I look fantastic in most dresses. :awesome: It's just the whole "smoking hot" thing totally isn't for me. You have to have the attitude of pretending you're all that and a pack of chips, but that makes me feel ridiculous.

Oh, I see! Yeah, a lot of things that are supposed to be "hot" (who made up these rules anyways?) are really ridiculous in every day life. I feel silly in smokey eyes, but if I want something a little more dramatic I found a natural smokey eye tutorial on youtube one day that really did the trick. It used lots of tans, browns and sand colors, and only a tad of black to line the upper lid and outer corners. It turned out really nicely but not overdone :)

I guess it really is an attitude - wasn't thinking of it in that way. Though I think it's good to have confidence (yet not over-confidence) in yourself and feel comfortable :) That's when you'll truly shine.

I very much believe that every individual can only pull off so many "looks." While Anita's may not be "hot," I'm certain that there are plenty of other styles that suit her and are sexy on HER. Sultry isn't everyone.

I can do "hot" and rock the heck outta a dramatic smokey eye (since you ladies mentioned it :oldrazz:) but I sure as hell can't do plenty of other popular looks, particularly the whole "hipster" trend. I look absurd.

Rule of thumb if you are a hipster - you MUST wear glasses if you have less than perfect vision, and they MUST be black framed. No contacts allowed.

I think you're right and that's what I was thinking in my head but didn't put down in words - that everyone has a look that's sexy on them, but not necessarily what the popular consensus of "sexy" is.

Speaking of stuff that you can/cannot pull off, I never looked great in jeans and a T-shirt :( Oh well, it has made me dress in more complete outfits rather than just a pants + shirt combo (though I imagine the convenience of that is nice!).

I'm still at work so I can't see them (will be leaving soon though) but I'd just like to add that I probably am a hipster. I make my own bread and yogurt. :funny:

Haha, that sounds more like hippy :oldrazz: And that sounds delicious, as well. Looove homemade bread!

I'm getting all these terms mixed up! :funny: My sister (who lives in SF, mind you) accused me of being a hipster, for what's that worth. :oldrazz:

Yeah my stomach's recovered a lot and I feel good about not using the extra packaging or filler in the stuff I eat. :yay:

Ooooo I love baking and cooking. Homemade is the best!
