spidey killing osborn, not sure if that was a good move, always thought it would be best if harry thought spidey had killed him
Er... that's what happened. Harry thinks that Spidey killed Norman, while Norman is alive and well.

no, everyone including parker thinks spiderman killed goblin.

it would have been a perfect opportunity for a spiderman 'no more' scene, also with it mimmicking the actions of his own uncle's death affecting him.

i cant believe this season is over! i waited more than 6 months for season two and its already over. they couldnt have ended the season in a better way, it leaves us wanting more and more, and i cant wait for season 3!

Chameleon doesn't known Norman's "I never apologize" theme. That's why it wasn't him at the airport, it was Norman, who said once again "Don't apologize. I never do" when he was about to leave.
And why would Chameleon disguise as a disguised Norman when he can be anyone else?
Doesn't make sense. That was Norman at the airport.

Oh I never doubted that, I know that was the real deal at the airport ;). I was actually talking about the part where he went into the watershed that was filled with bombs and which supposedly killed "Norman".

Norman probably jumped off the glider right before he collided with the pumpkin bombs, or like someone else said, Norman could have activated the bombs before he collided with them. This would give him a chance to escape. That's my theory.:cwink:

:) yeah, it was I. That's what I believe, but according to Spiderine, if Warren is master of clones, than its very possible that could have been a clone of Norman since Warren is working for him, right?

^Hm, I don't know about clones. I mean, a lot of people hated that. But, yes, that is possible.

Oh, that.
Well, maybe it is like you and other guys said. Maybe he activated the bombs before the fall or maybe he jumped before reaching that...

Given that we already know that Norman survived, I don't think they're going to bother explaining how he did it. It would kind of take the fun out of it!

Wow o wow what a wicked episode the season finale was. I enjoyed every single minute of it. I cant believe the plot, action, and all the twists we got in the episode. What a great way to close out the return of the green goblin arc and the season(hopefully not the series).

The start of the episode was pretty good with spidey searching the city for harry who been missing for days and the goblin(who he still thought was gobby at the time). The pumpkinhead lackys were pretty cool to see again. Nice to see that some time has elsaped since last episode and this episode. So it works for the city way mob of lackys, and the whole set up of goblin bombs throughout the city we saw later in the episode. Like others have said it would be wicked sweet if they say one of the lackys was jason macondale aka the jack ol' latern/at one time the hobgoblin.

It was good to see peter, gwen, and harry talking about the green and him possibly being the goblin. Which then leads us into is harry really the goblin after the story he told that he was kidnaped by the goblin. Loved that line both peter and harry said at the same time. Then we got to see peter and gwen have a nice heart to heart talk after the advice aunt may gave peter. Its nice to see that they both have finally amitted to each other their love, to bad harry heard the whole thing.

Then we got to see peter and gwen trying to find the right moments to break things off with liz and harry so they could finally get together. Loved the scene with peter, gwen, and mj it was very funny and nice to see mj is trying to be matchmaker for them. As for peter's break up with liz it was sad to see it happen since she did really like him. But like typical highschool popular girls she had to put on a mask and make it look like she dumped peter.

As for the conners it sad to see them go after what has happened with the lab and the take over by miles warren. Nice to see them going to fl like some incarnations of the comics they were there for awhile. I hope this could lead to return of lizard next year in fl setting would be epic to see. As for martha's line to peter and gwen about miles, i so hope we dont see any clones happening to soon. Though i bet Greg would make an epic clone arc.

As for the mystery as to who is the goblin is it harry, is it norman, donald macken, emily it was played out very well. The story worked well and i loved all the hints throwing spidey every different direction. As for the reveal as to him be goblin and had chamelon working for him even though he was stealing from him before was sweet. i was so happy that norman was the goblin all along and i had a feeling like others that he was the master manipulator and set things all up on harry. Loved how the harry reveal was all staged by gobby. He is one sick sob.

As for the battles throughout the episode they were all great and i enjoyed them all. As for norman dying that was a wicked scene. And as for him still being alive their is many easy reasons you can bring up to how he survived. Also the graveyard scene was great too and man harry is so becoming his father and guilting gwen to stay with him. Man i cant wait to see where things could go if we get 3rd season. And i really hope we do. This is one of the most well thought out, planed, and written hero series out there and i would hate to see it end like this. Also loved the ref to gargen who we all know greg has stated many times he wants to do hobgoblin and scorpion for 3rd season.
Well thats my review guys.
I actually think that one guy that got away driving the truck was Macendale aka Jack O Lantern not too say he will become Mad Jack or anything but maybe he will be a part of the Hobgoblin mystery. Anyways if he was nobody then what was the point of showing that scene.

I also saw a nod to SM1, where Spidey's mask is alot like Peter's at the finale with Osborne in the film.

would be very interesting if they decide to have jason macondale next season.

Be funny if Harry got arrested by Homeland Security for using a helicopter to shatter windows in a post 9/11 NY. That would solve the love triangle, albeit in a bittersweet way.

Did anybody else find it unusually shocking when the Goblin was revealed to be Norman Osbourne? I mean, we all pretty much knew it had to be him somehow, but there was something unsettling about seeing Norman's face on Gobby's body.

My favorite part of the episode was when Harry looked out the window and saw Norman's face on Goblin's body. I thought he looked cool like that to me for some reason.

Yea I kind of know what you mean, I had sort of the same feeling.

I had that feeling too. It seemed like sometimes Norman's head was too big for the Goblin's body.

Well let me put it this way, it was unsettling in a good way lol

Was it just my imagination, or did the Globulin Gas make Norman's eyes dilate like it did with Harry's?

I just realized that now when you mentioned about the 9/11 event.

And yes, I did find it funny-looking to see Norman's head on the Green Goblin's body. I thought it looked small, but no big deal.

Hard to tell...Norman's eyes are kinda always like that...

Quick question, so are the only people who know about Norman being Gobby Mrs. Osborn, Peter, Harry, and Gwen (well I'd assume she'd know after Harry said what he said at the gravesite). If not, when he eventually comes back I wonder what the villains that hated Norman before his Gobulin induced villainy (Vulture, Ock) will do or think...Also one can only think what will happen to his company after the truth is known...not a lot of people will back supervillains...

I don't really see any of them saying anything. The real threat is Chameleon if there was ever a particular reason for him to use that knowledge. I don't really expect Norman back in a season 3 anyways. My question is what was their explanation for his death if him being the goblin was kept a secret.

HOLY CRAP, this show is SPECTACULAR. I just watched eps 11-13 now and wow what a way to end the season. I find it amazing that they were able to shock us with the fact that Norman was the goblin after all even though we all knew it had to be him. (i also loved that subtle misdirection of it possibly being Osborn's wife, but that wouldnt have made sense). The fight was epic and of course Peter loses the girl in the end, sucha great show man. If this show doesnt get renewed then there is truly NO justice in the world.
