Honestly could care less about Reed. Have never liked him.

It's always been all about Johnny, Sue, and Ben for me.

I like Johnny most but I just don't find him or Sue as difficult to cast as the other two.

And honestly I don't most people beyond us even remember that she was Alicia in Fantastic Four, but rather know her because of Django Unchained or Scandal.

Honestly I was just listing off a racially blind casting that I thought would be good for Sue.

Well, I would, and since I am going to the movie for "my" enjoyment...it would throw it off. Call me selfish, as some already have, and much worse...lol, but I want to enjoy the movie, and thus far, not really looking forward to it. BUT, since your choice was simply that, a fun choice for you, then ok....you can have that dream.

But hey, if we are going your direction then Amber Stevens I guess...

Oh...ok, well wrong thread, so its too easy to confuse me. lol

But, as far as that casting? No, he was too much of a whiner, I usually enjoy the actor commentary but he whined through it on the first DVD. It was irritating. It was pretty much a Ben and Johnny movie the first time at least for screen time, so when he whined about screen time in the 2nd movie, that pretty much turned me off to him for good.

I'd be happy for none of the first cast to come back, not that I blame the weaknesses of the movie on them, I don't...but for their sake its better to move on.

Well, the fact that he screamed for the suit rather than CGI in order to do the part and then *****ed about the suit...that kind of perturbs me as well. I think the look would have been much much better, instead we had the rubber dude. So, that too....

There was NEVER going to be a digital Thing in the Tim Story FF movies - not on that budget!

I'm just going by what he and Tim Story said in their first interview, so ... ok whateva... Point was, he got what he wanted and *****ed about it.

I remember Chiklis specifically saying the suit sucked but that it was the right way to go.

The thing is, with the suit, I don't think Thing was delivered as well as he could be...he was fine as Ben, I have no complaints there, but other than doing a good job with the voice, which I think many could have done, not much else stood out with his performance...mostly because the suit really took away from it for me.

Since the Thing has traditionally been shorter than Reed, it made sense to use a practical approach for him. Now perhaps it could have been a little more faithful to the Kirby Thing - bigger brow, smaller raised nose, wider mouth - but those were aesthetic decisions made by Fox and had nothing to do with what could or could not be done with make-up and a little digital help [cutting out the mouth corners for example].

Chiklis and Evans did great jobs at bring those characters to life - they have left big shoes to fill on this reboot...there, I brought it back to the Torch.
