Apocalypse Fox officially reveals the running time for this movie

There is a reason why Jackson didn't release the extended editions in theaters. Those super cuts are for the fans. Which is a small percentage of the theater going audience. So, yes, it is about the money. It is always about the money for all the studios.

Singer has yet to let me down. I think some trust is needed, despite how you feel "length equals quality".

Every Singer's movie I've seen has been great, at fist I was disappointed about the duration but I trust him. He loves surprises and he loves to shut mouths, so I can´t wait this to happen

The Rogue Cut is great, it's my preferred version even though i don't like the 'Mystique at the mansion' part. The Rogue rescue mission injects some excitement into the middle of the movie, whereas the theatrical release had a long part where it seemed quite flat (a guy in one of the screenings I was at yawned loudly as though he was bored).

However, I can understand why they cut all that stuff out, except perhaps the extended future sequence discussing time travel (which gave a bit more substance to that part of the film).

In any case, the Rogue Cut doesn't really address some of the overall narrative/structural 'issues' that have been raised on here, such as opening with mostly unfamiliar characters the audience didn't care about.

But anyway, I thought BvS and CA:CW were both too long. BvS had pacing/structure issues and I was shuffling around with 'numb bum' and CA:CW seemed a little indulgent in places and had some action/fights that went on too much.

I didn't like Jack the Giant Slayer and Superman Returns.

Yeah, there's just so many different sources about the running time.

Fox.ES says 135m

AMC US says 140m

AMC UK says 170m

Fandango says 140m

Empire UK says 147m

Rotten Tomatoes says 136m

I'm sure theres even more sources than this. All major websites about comics are silente about the running time.

Its the biggest mystery of the film!

and sometimes when you don't let the artist express himself, you end up with terrible or less than good movies.

So what if the artist looks at the product and thinks yeah these scenes kinda take you out of the movie i think i might need to cut it.. is that the artist expressing himself? or is that the artist just trying to hurt his movie?

I hope Fox will attach the 1st trailer for Assassin's Creed!

Superman Returns is indeed better than Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice... but I still find its so boring. Singer really tried to emulate the look/feel of the first two Superman films but in expense of the film not feeling modern. No wonder it underperformed at the box-office.

Yeah I think it was boring mostly because the story wasn't very interesting to begin.

Its the biggest mystery of the film!

Is about time to Singer to reveal. How come the movie is not even classified yet when next week will premier in London.

My local cinema updated it to 136 today. They had no length set before.

Maybe they're trying to guess.

Is strange that no official word yet, just some website updates everywhere with different running times.

My local cinema still says 130 minutes, but it's probably an estimation and it'll be a few minutes more I guess.

TheNewSlayer, I would recommend you to watch 'Love Exposure' (one of my favourite movies ever). 237 minutes of perfect pacing that will fly by! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Fxa5NuVrqU

It's happening! My local cinema says 143 minutes

Oh man, when is it that they'll finally confirm it.

The movie looks good. I might watch it.

Erik Davis confirms that the runtime on the film is 143 minutes. Dunno if it includes credits but who cares. Let's get the Apocalypse hype train going!
