Apocalypse Fox officially reveals the running time for this movie

The other bloke who's Bryan Singers mate said it was 132minutes of film, plus CACW is 136minutes so only 4 minutes longer than XA, my guess is 132film 7 credits then 2 minute stinger scene probably teasing Wolverine 3

Sounds fantastic to me. Now can people relax lol?

CACW is 146minutes

Singer friend watched without credits.

The running time is 143 minutes with credits.

wow seriously i was on about the film length, sod the credits. who cares about credits anyway. yes its 143minutes with credits but i was on about the actual film being 132minutes and Civil War (FILM) being 136minutes yes its 147minutes with credits.

I just hope for they finally classify this movie soon cause next monday will be the release in London.

I've been invited to an advance screening in London on May 16. Quite near the UK opening date (May 18), so it's not amazingly early, but I've said 'yes' of course :woot:

Lucky! I'll be able to watch it three days later.:woot:

Take a timer to the theater so we can know the actual run time of the movie.

Strangely my invitation to the press screening says 133 minutes :/

Seeing it on the 18th as hopefully il be off work. Getting released early in the UK has its advantages

It says "about 133" minutes, so it could be a little longer than that. Or maybe they just used outdated information in the email.

That must be it, outdated information.

A lot of website that said 135m will have to fix their information.

This movie should be classify until the end of this week.

I find it very par for the course that a post about how long the running time of a movie is has gotten 10 pages of comments.

LOL... yes I'll be timing it and also I shall be available for questions afterwards (via private message if they are spoiler-filled)...

I think that Bryan might be playing with fire if he abandon X-Men again. The next Director might do the Phoenix story and once again he will lose his chance of doing it.

He should just get off his pedestal and stick with what he is got at and do another x-men movie. Nobody liked his Superman movie or Giant the slayer or something don't even remember the name.

One thing that I like about the MCU is that they know what's next. The XCU looks like they don't know what's next.

Sure the XCU have next year Wolverine 3 and in 2018 Deadpool 2, but what about the next X-Men movie? They should know by now.

Yes, they can't afford to do the Phoenix Saga again without it being done properly...

They probably don't see it that way where it has to be done properly but just better since the X-Men series only really lightly adapts the source material so chances are the same would happen with Phoenix

I think it can't be worse than X-Men 3.

The New Phoenix Sage if done right can be the next big thing for Fox X-Men.

I meant the risk of it being done in the way X3 did, which many fans found unsatisfactory. Although it's now unlikely to be done without Cyclops or without a firebird, it could still lack the tone that Singer had intended in his own X3. I doubt he'd let the Phoenix Saga slip through his fingers for a second time.
