I agree 150%
I bought the deluxe version.
This is now my favorite Batman film.
Indeed. It's a huge conspiracy and it's completely unfair!Amazing how something so clearly loved and or enjoyed by an audience can at the same time be met with such contempt at the mere implication of loose adaptation for this next DCU film.
Says alot imo.

The DKR is a terrible Superman story. I hope that one day there will be a story where Superman utterly kicks Batman's ass over an ideological difference. Maybe something over what it means to be a hero.

What DCU film is it being considered a loose adaption for? I heard rumors it's version of the Joker may be a big inspiration for Leto's Joker in the Suicide Squad movie.
The soundtrack for this movie is incredible. I think it hits all the right notes for the context of TDK Returns. 80 dance club elements, as well as Terminator-esque audio landscapes given the dystopian future the story depicts. The main Batman theme also has a military feel as well, which makes sense given TDK Batman refers to his crusade as a war.
I love Hans Zimmer, but it's always going to be a missed opportunity BVS won't have a score by Chris Drake, or a collaboration between him & Zimmer.
Chris Drake definitely deserves to be brought up to the big leagues.
He's also done fantastic work with the Arkham games.

There are many signs that Affleck's Batman will take a lot from TDKR, as both Snyder and Affleck are huge fans of the story. The new Batsuit is close to the TDKR suit, and a lot of the characterization sounds similar (semi-retired, crusty/aggressive, estranged from Dick. All rumors though). Also, the armor seen in the comic-con clip was almost a direct adaptation of the armor Batman used against Superman in TDKR.
Excellent. I'm delighted to hear that.
