Haha this was the first episode of the season that ive liked. Ive found myself bored with this season. I miss when this show was about fringe events and weird ****. The affliction made it feel like the show i loved. The observers just arent weird enough or interesting enough to really keep my attention.

I really liked this episode. I'm starting to get used to the new format. It is much easier to follow, and not as complicated as previous seasons. It's slowly building into something good.

I would like to notice the special effects in this show, they're very very well done. It's a beautiful sci-fi show to look at, and there are still great ideas thrown in there. The season may be very different from the previous 4, but they haven't lost the touch in that area.
This is quality.

Well, Broyles appeared in the recordist room, I'm sure they're planning on bringing him soon enough. 10 episodes left.

This was the only thing I liked about this ep bar the kids cool Fringe team comic books.

 

[The Epic Beyond]

I thought this episode was great. Im still not sold on the evil observers but it had such a strong emotional center. I love the fact that the kid, River is a comic book artist and has a bit of hero worship for the fringe team. It was a great contrast to his father sacrificing his life to help them save the world. I am missing Boyles though.

unfortunately, yes... they're ending it of their own accord, I believe...

No, Fox cancelled it but was kind enough to give them one last short season to wrap up the story

Don't be so melodramatic. Getting a final 13, when the ratings in no way merit one, is not a cancellation. If Fox cancelled it, they would've done it outright. And they could've, too.
