Sci-Fi Fringe Thread - Part 2

you know at one point when Nina was talking about lizards ect , I was thinking to myself ''what these are Lizards? what is this V?'' then she finished talking and I was all like '' ohhh'' :(

It's funny thinking back to "Letters of Transit" last season. Walter mentioned something happening to September that was "surprising". Now we have an idea of what he was referring to.

great epi... but its time to stop this easter egg hunt nonsense, and start the ball rolling for the epic endgame

I LOVED that whole monologue by Nina. She was totally badass in that episode.

I love how she insulted them with scientific knowledge.

On a show thats had so many epic showdowns between characters over the year, the Nina VS Windmark one will very likely go down as 1 of the top 5. Such a strong speech by her & to make the sacrifice she knew had to be made it was amazing.

When Blair told my friends & I on the set of 510 that was her last day on the show, I was hoping that they at least gave her some type of solid send off, and not just a "die in a gun battle with Walter or someone trying to save her as she fades away" type moment. They certainly delivered.

You know, as we close in on the endgame, I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed that we never got a young Walter/Bell episode. It would've been great to see how they first met and worked together.

Zachary Quinto should've been young Bell and Anton Yelchin could've been young Walter. :awesome:

a young Bell/Walter ep might have been good... but good god NO to dragging in some Star Trek people to play them NO.

J.J. Abrams Talks STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, 3D, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5, the FRINGE Finale, Future Projects, Maintaining Secrecy and More
Christina Radish said:
Have you seen the Fringe finale?

ABRAMS:
I have not seen it. But, the cut has just come in, apparently. I could go watch it right now. Joel [Wyman] is also furiously working on his pilot and splitting his time between that and the new show, which I also can’t wait to talk to you about. But, it will be great. The script was unbelievable. I think it’s going to be incredibly emotional.

Is it satisfying?

ABRAMS:
If it’s not satisfying, I don’t know what satisfying is. Yes, I think it will be satisfying.

A totally random question which popped into my head yesterday : has it ever been explained why there appears to be no female observers, or why there appears to be no females in the Observer-era future at all?

I think they said something about how all the women are like used birthing and reproduction only.

I may be wrong though.

there there... buck up, little buddy, there's always the box sets to watch over and over in the future when the show is long gone......

I gotta DVR this because of the Knicks game but I really cannot wait. Will watch tomorrow morning with pizza.

Coming down to the wire now. I hope FOX releases one last Series Finale studio trailer. Those have been awesome

So if they do what they want to do. Original Peter dies as normal. Then Alternate Peter dies due to September not being around to save him from the lake

Michael, what the **** was you doing getting off the train like that?! :cmad:

Also surprised the promo spoiled [blackout]Bolivia and Lincoln[/blackout]. Otherwise, I would've had no idea. But, you know... typical FOX.

I get the feeling Michael is going to flip the Captain Observer. He is already showing emotions of anger and recognizing emotions brought on by music. If Michael gives him one good zap of empathy he is gonna crack. To what purpose I cant say but they have definitely set something up with him and Michael.
