If this game didn't have the G.I. Joe license attached I probably wouldn't like it nearly as much, but I've enjoyed unlocking the various characters and the old school Contra type game play.

I also have the PS2 version. I'm really struck by its musical score. IMHO, it's actually much better than Silvestri's for the film. The game definitely has an old school feel to it. Not perfect, but worth a play.
