Disney likely won't have any say in the matter and they probably won't for over 12 months.

Why is that bit of detail ignored?

This is correct for Gambit specifically. The film is far enough along that it probably gets done (although I'm hesitant to say with all certainty given how often this film has been pushed back in the past). Anything that starts production in 2018 likely comes out because of how long it will take to get approval. 2019 will probably be the last year for the Fox X-Men Universe though. By that point the deal will have gone through and although it might take a couple of years to fully integrate Fox into Disney, they will almost certainly move the Marvel slate right away aside from those finished/near-finished films.

There is a very good chance that Gambit ends up being the last Fox film. I certainly wouldn't count on X-23, New Mutants 2, Multiple Man, etc. unless they can get rolling this next year.

If you want Gambit in MCU then it is good.

If you want Gambit movie which will be made by FOX and released in 2019 be cancelled so Gambit can possibly appear in some X-Men movie in MCU in 202X then it is ridiculous or you are just a hater.

Deal approval need 12-18 month at least. Approval may be made even after Gambit theatrical release.

Tatum`s Gambit has no impact on Disney`s plans or Gambit appearence in MCU.

Random question, what vibe would you all want the trailer or teaser for Gambit to feel like? New Mutants had the horror vibe, Logan the western...but what about Gambit? Maybe a heist vibe like the Ocean's films?

Ignoring facts, that this film has been delayed so many times and that there's no hype for this? And so what if I'm negative. The only reason why this film is being made because of Channing Tatum. So wrong motivation, Gambit should be utilized in a X-Men TEAM film.

UPDATE: It looks like full-steam-ahead for GAMBIT. Now looking at a FEBRUARY production start. We previously confirmed a shoot in NEW ORLEANS in MARCH. Just in case you thought it was getting canceled.

Gambit movie has hired Tom Struthers as the stunt coordinator and Academy Award-winner Joel Harlow as the makeup artist.

Tom has previously worked on Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Black Panther, Infinity War, etc. Joel has worked on Logan, Black Panther, Inception.

Katrissa 'Kat' Peterson also joins the crew as the visual effects coordinator. She has worked on Guardian of the Galaxy vol.2, Black Panther, Iron Man, Captain America: Winter Soldier.
