Well, now I can't wait to see how Tyrion manages to sell himself and Jorah into Daenarys's service, now that Jorah's confirmed to be in the Pit seen as well. You just know it's going to be good.

In the books, I'm thinking he's going to spend most of TWOW cleaning up the mess in Meereen.

Charling cleanses better than anything else

I think the people of Meereen have hunters and huntresses to go out and Charl meat for Dany's dragons.

Jorah has blood on his sword. I wonder who he is fighting? And who killed all those people in the stands? They aren't burnt, but I guess they could be standins for cgi burnt bodies.

Maybe with the accelerated and condensed Mereen plotline we're going to get, the Harpies vs Shavepates/their approximation (I think the guy with a mask is one of those groups) is actually happening when Drogon thinks "What smells like so much delicious, delicious blood?"

We see Unsullied staring back towards the seats with their spears lowered, and having that many administrative characters (Daenarys, Tyrion, Missandei) in the middle of some kind of melee (Is Tyrion holding a dagger? Maybe one of Daario's?) doesn't seem like the scenario you'd get during a surprise dragon attack. It could, however, be the way the Queen's men find themselves if there's an ambush and they have to retreat from an attack on the box seats.

Maybe there's going to be some Jon and Daenarys parallels involving assassination schemes...

Well, Barristan's not there and the rumors were that he'd get hurt in place of Strong Belwas, and that Daario would be Hand, so maybe it's to do with that.

I keep feeling that Daario's high profile on the show must mean something significant for the books; His book role seems so small in comparison to the amalgamated character they've given him. I'm not saying he has to be Euron (though I do like the theory, and they've got to have something planned for Balon's eventual death), but it would just feel a little stupid if the show runners took Daenarys's bed warmer and mercenary commander and elevated him to defacto number two over even Barriston Selmy. If he is just a roguish distraction for the Mother of Dragons, then I expect to see him fail epically at being Hand so that our dear friend Tyrion can step up.

I wouldn't look at the show as a reflection of the books. They've said before they're doing their own thing with it from here on out.

I know that; it just would seem odd to me that he gets the promotion. There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of fandom behind either actor's take on the character, and his recasting seems to imply that one the one hand, they knew he wasn't that big of a feature to show only fans, but at the same time, they felt he was necessary to the plot developments tied to the character.

Now, I could also see them having previously made the decision to make most of Daenaerys's more colorful companions of questionable moral fortitude one character, and simply deciding that's the way to keep things simple.

just got another Three Eyed Raven text/video... more Reek lol and fighting at the wall.

all the production value went to dany

Reek got a random .00001 second shot, which is the most we've seen of the Boltons story.

Season Five bootleg is on Youtube. Looks like Varys is backing Dany. Also, it has some nice production values.

This guy got a line of dialogue verbatim from the IMAX trailer...so there might be something to this: https://m2.facebook.com/Stannisswagatheon/posts/814624378577731?refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2FStannisswagatheon%2Fposts%2F814624378577

It's gonna be the season of Dany!:awesome: The production value on this show keeps getting better and better. It's insane going back to season one and seeing how confined and small scale it was compared to season 4 and that trailer for season 5.

That dragon's head coming out of the darkness looked ****ing huge!:wow: I wonder if that is when
Quentyn gets roasted
?

The Harpy being pulled down!

Seems like Tyrion and Varys are gonna get some good scenes together!

Can not wait!

Mel about to get naked again... Zod I love Game of Thrones. :awesome:

People are saying you can see Reek in a burning scene at 0:58.

@DRZ: It doesn't look like it. Though Euron is the only Greyjoy uncle to show up on HBO's Greyjoy family tree. I think Aegon is out as well, unless you're in the niche that believes Trystane Martell will be an alias for Aegon. It is slightly possible that when Varys says "Who said anything about him," he is referring to Tommen...they could have cut the trailer to make the viewers think it is Dany. I don't think this is the case, though. They need to start getting ready for the next Dance and the Long Night.
