I can't say I totally believe him, either.

Mostly because Martin has basically confirmed he is alive and that there are two many important loose ends. You also have Mel at the wall what is the point of her being there? Actors are known to lie to cover up the truth. I say two theories either Mel resurrects him or he wargs into another person and they will have a new actor play him.Do we have a good reason not to believe him, other than just hopefulness?
Because, you know, there are still people who theorize that Ned Stark isn't dead in the books.
Again, I want to believe he's coming back too, but on this show, who the **** knows?
Why are we assuming that he will come back into that body? We don't know ****.
Kit could be telling the truth and we'll see a new actor play Jon Snow going forward.
Jon comes back in Stannis's body!
Mel is at the Wall and knows from Thoros that her god can revive the dead.
Ugh.
Well, if he isn't getting his own body back it's gotta be some other empty vessel. So it'd have to be Stannis or some other random dead persons body. At least the actor who plays Stannis is known and we trust his ability to act. Jon coming back in the body of some noname soldier's body would just suck.the bolton banners get burned, by Jon and his army of wildlings i imagine.I would like to hear what was going on with her when she left Stannis and his army.
This is me. She's there for a reason.ЯɘvlveR;31607117 said:i'm 60/40 he's dead, but mel arriving at castle black sets up what exactly for next season? she coulda just taken her punk ass to mereen.
And think about this. Mel said Stannis is Azor Ahai. Yet she knows something is unique about Jon. So she may have been right on both accounts. She did see Stannis as Azor in visions, but she didn't realize it was Stannis's body being occupied by Jon's soul.
