game of thrones just won best drama... wow... WOW

Oh Jesus, cry about it already. :o

I've been sitting through f***ing Jim Parsons wins for 5 goddamn years, you can take one for the weakest season of a still pretty great show.

Sorry, every other show in the category was doubly deserving.

I didn't mean to disappoint you, Sawyer, please forgive me. All I ever wanted was for you to like me.

Lena was the one award I wanted them to win, and they won everything but that
of course

Good for Game of Thrones

I never got the sense that Jon was suppose to be changed by his death. Quite the opposite really. That is why everyone has bet on Jon warging into Ghost. So he keeps his mind, his soul.

That's what I expect to happen in the books. It is less clear in the show since we don't have any hints toward Jon warging Ghost, and they also had Melisandre learn about Thoros' resurrection of Dondarrion.

He'll keep his mind and his soul, but i think he will come back a little colder and less trusting. hes definitely not going to be the same Jon.

Well deserved awards. Congrats to the cast and crew.

The very purpose of her return is to show exactly how perverse it is. She isn't herself, too tortured, too trapped in the moment of her death. When Cat died, she was insane. Lady Stoneheart is the example of it.

Exactly. She's basically just a corpse that is being animated by the hatred and madness Cat felt in her death. Look at Pod in the books, he's just a child and Lady Stoneheart was ready to hang him for something he had nothing to do with. I've never been a big fan of Cat, but that's a far cry from the woman she was.

Dinklage won for what was basically a sleepwalking performance, and yet none of the Hannibal cast have even been nominated. That...irks me.

They finally won, for arguably the worst season. :funny:

We still have Hardhome. :atp:

I still don't get the love for Hardhome. I mean, it had good special effects I guess, but storywise it was mostly filler material and nowhere near as interesting or engaging as the wildling attack on Castle Black.

Yeah, Dinklage should have won for last season. I don't think his performance really stood out this season. He just kinda stood around and looked surprised at dragons.

He also shipped Dany/Jorah as much I did, you mother****er!!!! :argh:

:o

He had less screentime this year and no real dramatic scenes, it seemed like he was on autopilot the whole time.

I love Watchers on the Wall. I take it over Blackwater, and it is my favorite episode. The last 20 mins of Hardhome is on that level imo.

Darth, he won't be a boy forever. And Winter is coming.

I don't particularly care (Although The Knick is a masterpiece and should've won ideally), I just hope D&D don't take this as a signal to keep half assing it.

Our most fanfictiony season is also our most celebrated! More incoherent plot developments and people acting out of character! More I say!

more dorne yeaaaa more dorne wooo! yeaa baste that ****ing country... rub some cider on it mmm yea put that ****ing thing in the oven and let it broil. **** yea

I think it will happen, unless they listen to the fans. Which they've said they stopped doing after season 3's reception of Stannis.:csad: I think they care about what the general audience wants, hence you get Brienne kill the evul stannis and revenge porn with Arya brutally mutilating a knight, which they had to make into a pedophile just so the audience would know he's baaaaad.

you want a proper show but you need a bad show.

They did not need to add anything to Merwyn Trant to make him unlikeable. The book character was already extremely unpleasant.

General audiences won't remember what he did during seasons 1 and 2.
