As long as Cersei is safe i don't care who dies. Kill them all if you like.

Maggy's prophecy has so far come true. The only part of it not fulfilled yet is the valonqar killing Cercei. Maggy has been exactlt right so far. No reason to assume she screwed up and was wrong about Cersei's death. Cersei is going to die. Valonqar is valyrian and it means "little brother". If taken literally, either Jaime or Tyrion will kill her. Most readers expect Jaime to kill her.

You cant be serious. She's a mass murdering sociopath thats been having sex with Jaime for years and tried to have Tyrion murdered and gave Sansa to Joffrey to be beat and treated like an animal. And when she has been in power before King's Landing has went to complete ****.

She is not the only one you know. plus she has been through so much lately i think she deserves break and. she is a powerful strong woman and thee most entertaining. That pretty strongly implies that their endgame was always to have Doran's place usurped by the Sand Snakes, and that they valued that outcome more than Siddig's appearances as Doran being almost unanimously preferred to the Snakes and Ellaria. So either Doran is doomed to a fairly ignominious ending in the books, or they made the wrong long term decision in scripting the show and couldn't break from their path.

Knowing D&D, I'm almost certain it's the latter.

It also brings to mind the references that they used throughout Season 4 to the "Golden Company". It wouldn't surprise me if they've radically altered their plans for the show before, and Doran/Hotah's inclusion and sudden death was their attempt at major course-correction.

To be fair, most characters do have their redeeming features. Even Littlefinger (and I only say that because as of yet, I don't think we've reached the bottom with him yet)....but Cersei is simply one of the most ugliest characters we've had. She loves her kids, and that's the only thing that for me keeps her behind the tri-axis of Ramsay, Joffrey and Craster.

That does beg the question why she hasn't already had Tyrion murdered in the books. She knows her little brother will kill her someday.

Cersei is a way behind those 3 for the reason mentioned and at least Joffrey was still a kid. Ramsay and Craster will have to fight it out for the title (my money's on Ramsay).

How big of a role will Cersei actually play this season, given the war with the White Walkers is about to begin, we wouldn't expect the War for Kings Landing to last long... and what of Jaime?

Oh damn! Do they usually give away things like how many episodes they're going to be in? Bit of a death sentence in GoT land. That's how I got spoiled on Sean Bean's death (well one of the ways) by checking IMDB and seeing he had only a handful of appearances compared to everyone else.
