Gatsby dies.

On a serious note, I've been listening to the soundtracks for the series, and have to say, they are dynamite. Sadly, I rarely focus on them, as I am usually latched onto the narrative; but, the theme for Melisandre is probably my favorite.

I love:
Oathkeeper
The Biggest Fire The North has ever seen
You Are No Son Of Mine

question for the book readers:

[BLACKOUT]At some point in the book, do we get to know were Mance Rayder was born? or where he comes from? I don't remember having read anything about it. [/BLACKOUT]

This isn't really a spoiler, but I believe he was a baby that the Night's Watch found and took in. Likely a Wildling child.

Director Michelle MacLaren Inks HBO Deal
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

EXCLUSIVE: Breaking Bad executive producer/director Michelle MacLaren has signed a two-year first-look deal with HBO. The pay cable network has had its eye on MacLaren for a while — she has become one of the go-to directors for HBO’s flagship drama Game Of Thrones, directing four episodes over the past two seasons. She is now directing an episode of HBO’s new drama series, The Leftovers.

MacLaren shared in the best drama Emmy AMC’s Vince Gilligan-created Breaking Bad won last year, and has earned two directing Emmy nominations. She also is involved in the Breaking Bad prequel series, Better Call Saul. MacLaren, repped by ICM Partners and attorney Mitch Smelkinson, first worked with Gilligan on Harsh Realm and The X-Files, on both of which she served as a co-executive producer, making her directorial debut on X-Files.
I assume this means we'll see more episodes from her in S5. If so... :awesome::up:

MacLaren is a great director, as she directed some of the best Breaking Bad Episodes. Her GOT episodes were also good.

That's good news for Season 5.

I don't care for her action scenes, but she does well enough with the other elements of the show.

the children.

for those in the know, who've heard it, i can just imagine it. :D

The Soundtrack is just great. It is a shame that Ramin Djawadi was never nominated for an Emmy.

Best tracks of this season are almost all from the last episode.

The best being ''You Are No Son of Mine''

Hope he does better with the Emmys this year.

Is it just me or do these seasons fly by? I swear it feels like it just got going a few weeks ago. Gonna be a long wait for season 5 :(

Is it Sunday yet?:argh:

I put my previous post in spoilers...this time. Two posts ago no one answered me if we can stop using spoiler tags since, you know, there is now a non spoilers forum. From now on, I won't be using them. I think a mod should add Warning, Spoilers! to the thread title.

Aah Im a little behind. :( I watched the 5th episode last night and it was quite good. I need to catch up on the rest before the season finale. Question, is there going to be another season after this one?

Game of Thrones has been renewed for both season 5 and 6.

Plan ius to end the show with season 8.

Is there any doubt that GoT will continue till its natural end? As in fail to be renewed? That would be terrible!! Surely it's way too popular.

I think it could go 10 seasons before it all ends.
