Get Me a Whopper

damn people, its just a whopper. They do have other things on the menu ya know...classic chicken sandwhich owns mah soul

When I worked there, I used to load that sandwich up. I'd put cheese, tomatoes, bacon and pickles in addition to the lettuce, and then I'd put some ranch dressing instead of mayonaisse. Best way to eat that sandwich.

The damn KING is back on the commercial, right after that guy says "GET ME A WHOPPER, the King walks out and gives him a Whopper.

LoL, I know where this Burger King is at. Man, I wish I would of gone. I would of recognized Reagan Burns immediately. Eh, whatev.

The new angle on this commercial is they're swapping whoppers out for Big Macs and Wendy's burgers. Funny stuff. Burger King has a great marketing department.

I went to the site when the commercials first started airing. I don't know whether to find it funny due to the overreactions or sad that we're at the beck and call of the fast food industry.

I've probably only had one Whopper in my entire life..

Whoppers are good, but I would never treat my food like my firstborn.

MmmmPickles. Pickles.

I remember one time when I worked at BK that I accidentally on purpose threw a coke out the drive thru window on a lady.

Me and some friends were laughing. The lady in the car heard us over the intercom and thought we were laughing at her. She was a bit insecure I guess. She shouted through the microphone, stop laughing at me. I thought she was about to go Carrie on us. We said we weren't laughing at her. Then my friend said something and I started laughing again. She started yelling and cussing this time. She pulled around the window and started yelling again. My boss came over and told her she couldn't cuss out the employees like that. It felt nice for a manager to stick up for an employee to a customer for a change. Then the lady just said to give her her F***ing food. then as I walked over I accidentally tripped and her coke went flying. The boss told her to take the food and enjoy.

The boss said she had it coming for being rude to the employees. I think she was hot for me.

lol. Your boss is so wrong...but, I have a few bosses that would probably say the same thing.. :p

I will be pissed off if they actully took away the whopper.:cmad:
But gladly they did't.:yay:

I've had a few bosses that have been flexible with my let's just call it a open minded philosophy when it comes to customer service.

I worked at a gas station and a guy couldn't get the pump started, so I walked out with him to the car and the pump and point out that the gas pump says "Press Start Button" He didn't press the start button, but I asked him if he did, he said "Do you think I'm stupid?"

My response, "It don't matter what I think, did you press the start button?"

Not a big fan of the Whopper or Burger King. But those people are ridiculous and most of them look stupid.

Jack in the Box, FTW!!

I worked at BK for 5 years, 3 of them as a manager. I've had MANY MANY times where I've refused to help a customer in Drive-Thru because of their language.

You get stupid teens coming through the DT all the time acting all "cool" and above the employees, and they'll say something offensive or obscene to the person working the DT register (which sometimes was even me), and I'd hop on the headset and warn them that they need to watch their language because everyone in the store can hear them, and if they don't I won't serve them.

That's usually followed by the people in the back of the car who don't realize we can hear them, too, saying something smart back to that. At which point, I thank them for stopping by and kindly ask them to leave my Drive-Thru.

And THAT'S when they start getting all "oh, sorry! Umm, that was my stupid friend in the back. It wasn't me."

To which I reply, "It doesn't matter. I warned you, and somebody still kept going. So I'm not serving you tonight. Try back again tomorrow."

And that's always answered by a "F*** you", a quick peel-out, and a middle finger or two as they drive by the window. I always smiled and waved back. :)

And the best part of it all is that, like clockwork, about 5 minutes later we'll see that same exact car pull around to the DT on our monitors. They think they're smart by switching around who's sitting where and who's driving, but we're way ahead of them: When they pull up to the speaker, instead of greeting them I tell them that I'm not stupid and that I told them I'm not serving them tonight. Of course they act all stupid and innocent "what do you mean? I don't know what you're talking about". So I let them know that I can see them and, again, I'm not stupid. "Try again tomorrow."

And once again: "F*** you", peel-out, middle finger...and my smile and wave. :D

I loved working at BK. :)

Working in any service industry where you have to cater to all walks of life is probably on the top of nightmare job listings.
