I don't think decent acting is really possible. Aside from Idris Elba, the acting will probably end up just a little better than previous film. Even good Marvel produced movies like Thor have had some dodgy acting here and there (Love that film but Portman was simply bad in it).^^^ I sure hope it turns out to be a fun action flick with decent dialogue and decent acting.

Agreed on part of Hiddleston, Hemsworth and Idris Elba. My fave character from the film was actual Elba's Heimdal. They were phenomenal indeed. And then there is Hiddleston. The man should get at least one Oscar nomination for his work. Best Marvel Villian I've seen in a Marvel Produced movie (First Class doesn't count here). Hopkins was kinda hammy in parts and Portman was simply bad IMO. I got the same impression from her work that I did from Attack of the Clones (Maybe a little better). It could have been due to Hemsworth's performance which really surprised me. He felt kinda bad in trailers but all of his actions were near perfect in the context of the movie. But Hemsworth, Hopkins, Hiddleston, and Idris Elba were phenomenal so that more than makes up for one person's performance (she did pretty good imo).
The only crossover could be with Spider-Man I don't think Sony will ever let that happen (Unless they lose the rights to GR and Marvel gets to add him to its current movie universe). They need to lay ground for a cross-over in this film.
I don't think a Spidey / GR crossover would make sense for Sony. Also, SM is their flagship superhero series that now is having a teenage reboot and makes 100s of million dollars while GR is just a superhero whose films get made just to keep the screens rights from returning to Marvel Studios. And why won't Sony ever let that happen? They have the rights to both these characters? Can't they do whatever they want with them? Please, enlighten me!
Fair point. Hopefully if something like that happens, it would mean GR getting more attention and not not Spidey getting worse treatment.RED Rider: If there's money to be made, Sony won't think twice about pairing these heroes. That's how Hollywood works.
Avengers will give the studios something new to do. It will be a trend for some years, with different super teams, and so on.

Yeah he made a good point, hopefully it comes true because I'd like to see a Ghost Rider/Spider-Man team up.
There was supposed to be new footage of GR 2 at NYCC. Where is it?
CORRECTION: It's next week, nevermind.
