well it's kinda inevitable. most people are shocked it's getting a sequel. Do a REBO-equal sorta like hulk... where if you tried.. you could essentially force it into seeming like a sequel... but it's a complete reboot too. Do the same with Ghostrider, just make it Danny this time

Maybe if Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance fails miserably at the box office, Ghost Rider can revert back to Marvel and then we will get the rebootquel everyone seems to want

I doubt Sony's gonna let the GR property go, even if it bombs. We wouldn't be lucky enough to see GR in the Marvel Movieverse and throwing down with Thor.

I think nic cage being the lead leeds the writer to believe it will be hokey....... in addition, the previous film was hokey

Agreed. For all we know, the peeing fire may just be a throw-away-gag.

It could be the very end. Before the credits. That would be an awesome way to end the movie..getting pissed on in 3D!

Imagine that scene with a Z-grade TV soup happy music and a mild fade. That would be the craziest combination awesome and bad camp.

You do know that is what they did already right? The only thing sequel about this movie is Nic Cage coming back.

And? Sounds like your and the writer of that articles problem is mainly with Nic Cage because I don't see why the talk of a reboot already without even seeing the frikkin film.

The reboot article is not far off. It makes some very sound points. Scary, that is GR, and I have mentioned many times that any GR movie needs to be a horror flick. Think a good slasher movie, not with kids at a camp, but bad mob guys on dark streets.

The problem is every single plot you can think of, has been done. So any plot to almost any movie is a rehash of something done prior. But if you make a new movie with Ketch, you can start with his sisters killing, the graveyard and bike and go from there. Let the film be all about revenge, and let the GR entity be nasty. Mortal Kombat tear your spine out nasty. As a Sony property, he can be in any Spiderman film, so a crossover is not out of the question. No reason Kingpin and Blackout can't get together... Wolverine and GR have ridden in the comics.. GR and Venom have tangled. What a great Marvel Knights team up that could be. I would love to see what a symbiotted GR might be like.

I love the new trailer but I agree Nic Cage is the wild card.

This flick looks terrific, little disappointed that Danny Ketch is a kid, but overall looks swell and very R-rated. (fingers crossed)
