This is true

It sucks that Murray doesnt wanna be in it, but honestly I kinda only want any of the old Ghostbusters (including murray if he changes his mind) to have a little bit of screentime. Like not more than Old Spock in Star Trek.
I think they should really focus on bringing the new generation to the forefront.
On the new generation of Ghostbusters I hope they dont pick comedic actors who already are leads in comedy movies throughout the year like Jason Segal, Zack Galifanakis, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller, Jay Baruchel, etc. I really hope they look into TV comedic actors.
That all being said here are my top choices for the new generation.
James Roday (Psych)

Michael Pena (Observe and Report, Tower Heist, 30 Minutes or Less)
![]()
Bill Hader (SNL, Superbad, Hot Rod, Tropic Thunder).
![]()
Dule Hill (Psych)

and for the female lead I think Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation)
![]()
and for a sequel they can bring in Oscar (the baby from the 2nd one) but I dont really want him in this one.
I've a suspicion that they will go to the likes of those guys first. Murray and Dan were already well known leading men when the original film hit and the latter wrote Winston with the intention of casting Eddie Murphy who was already on the verge of major superstardom plus of course you had Weaver who had done ALIEN by that point.
No offence regarding your above choices but with the news of Bill not doing the picture Dan or most likely the studio (Sony) will automatically want to attract bigger names because whilst GB returning to theatres is a big deal on it's own the lack of it's original star will be felt and they may want to compensate for his absence.
