I am happy someone said it. Apparently I have a bit of a high horse when it comes to such subjects.

What he just wrote was horrific and I will not ignore it. Hate the project all you want because it's a reboot but there is no need to act like you are from the 1950's.

Seriously... People are complaining about this?

Yes. They were basically standard aviator flight suits but basically akin to the type of overalls janitors or exterminators wear. They're supposed to look mundane because they're blue collar workers.

Rose would have been awesome but she's busy filming X-Men all summer. Can't be at two places at once.

Is she really going to be in that much of the film? I know that I would be completely on board with this movie if Rose was around. The woman deserves it.

Yes. She has a significant role in Apocalypse... but yes, Rose elevates everything she's in. Her and Paul Feig love working together but she was never in contention for this due to scheduling.

I learned to be more accepting these kind of reboots after the announcement of Big Trouble in Little China remake. I will always have the original. GB need to accept this. Eh.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with some fans not wanting a GhostBusters reboot (provided those people aren't sexist and just don't want a reboot period), I mean I hated the idea of a Robocop reboot and I think the reboot is a huge waste of time and vastly inferior to the original in every way that counts. So I get the dislike towards the project but I don't have that same view. I look forward to it after Spy. It's cool if nobody else is but that's just me. I'm even going to make it a point to see the film now.

As far as comparing this to Terminator Genesys, well at least they didn't turn Terminator into an old Fembot with menopause, get Melissa McCarthy to play Kyle Reese and bore everyone with her tired as F- shtick and get some young Hollywood stud to be Sarah Conner and have the Fembot Terminators oogle him.

This is going to be worse than Terminator Genesys, on par with Sharknado, Uwe Boll, and Trank's Fantastic Four.

I'm a big SNL fan so the Wiig being in it is great but No Amy Poehler

Wish it was a straight sequel though but I don't believe for one second they wont have nods to the original or even a cameo

Showed the new proton pack to my 4 yr old. He's a big fan of GB already. He instantly recognized it and got excited. Now we're watching Real Ghostbusters.

I definitely like the new pack and like that they didn't go fancy high tech and kept it 'built in a shop' rustic. The wand itself looks pretty fantastic from this angle and I like the extra wires running from it to the pack. For the pack itself, I'm still a bigger fan of the original. Might be because I have a replica in the other room that I've fantasized about having since a kid. If the original was my wife, the new one would be that attractive girl that walks by and I pretend not to look at.
