she made herself the centre of it all... by saying it's because she was black and female...Leslie Jones was at the white hot centre of that entire s**t-show. I don't think it's a matter of her not understanding. Of course her experience in the franchise has galvanized her views. None of the cast involved deserved the backlash they received, and it's a safe assumption that Jones got the most of it. I don't think any of us could possibly understand the situation she was facing.
