While we are on the subject of the Ghostbusters video game... I would love another single player Ghostbusters game. Maybe one that isn't a sequel to the films (or one that is, but takes place in modern day where you would need a new cast of Ghostbusters anyway). The 2009 one was cool, but one thing I didn't like about it is the silent avatar you were forced to play as. Why can't I play as one of the main characters (who gets actual dialogue and character development)?

I am so jealous those people at Cinema con got to see Ghostbusters Rising 3 months early. Reading some of the tweets to their reactions just makes me more exicited to see it now.

Lol why are you being so thin skinned? Was that reaction at all necessary? I wasnt scolding or angry at anybody, I was just surprised in neither positive or negative way, as I thought for sure there'd be more posts about it in here.

But what this tells me is the studio must be extremely confident about its quality to show it this early from release.

I'm not surprised this got a good reaction. It just really feels like a great way back into the franchise that's going to be a lot of fun and emotional. And you know it's in good hands.

Extremely jealous that people got to see it so soon though. I hope they do some early fan screenings.

Con audiences getting a surprise treat are certainly not a great gauge of quality, but a studio being confident enough to screen the film so early and publicly is a good sign. I'm really rooting for this one.
