The Cara Dune figures were "cancelled" from production. We won't get more, but they still have what they have around.

Bear Grylls show is not Star Wars. Also from what I could see (all the sites were extremely right wing or just dumb sites like that Covered one), there was no confirmation either way on that one.

Nat Geo also has a fair amount of shows that are appealing to the right wing. So, not surprising they would still air it.

As one who has dealt with bigotry and who in general has empathy for others, Carano being around at all is an issue for me. Anyone who would degrade others for who they are, especially some of the most disenfranchised among us is a bully, who I want no part of the galaxy far, far away.

Disney hasn't invited Roseanne back to be on her own show, so I can't see them bringing Gina back for a role that isn't really imperative to the overall show.

No rumors. just a few signs here and there. Walmart is is currently selling Cara Dune figures and Disney has backed down on its recent decision not to air the Running Wild With Bear Grylls episode featuring Gina.

The news that's getting reported on this is disingenuous. It was known months ago that Hasbro would still release the Retro Collection Cara Dune figure. Also, the ones that were cancelled were re-issues or re-orders of the existing Black Series or Vintage Collection Cara Dune.

Obviously, you are over-reading into things the same way alt-right dog whistling YouTubers do and saying that this must mean that Disney is bringing her back. This is originating from the likes of WDW Pro at Pirates & Princesses, Clownfish TV, Cosmic Book News' Matt McGloin, etc. In other words, sources that are not reputable.

These corporations are such massive, money driven monsters that of course they'll drop an actress for becoming too toxic for their show, but still push for any kind of reward they can off the back of them. If there was genuine principle behind booting Carano then you wouldn't do this, but we know there is not and it was simply a calculation. Again, not a rant. This is not big news and far from the worst thing happening on the regular.
