It's not even that she's been exploited as a villain. I just feel like they don't even put up the same effort into writing her lines as they used to. They're still kind of funny, but it just doesn't feel fresh anymore.

It hasn't been fresh since Season 1.

Sometimes I wish they hadn't killed her sister, but the actress developed Alzheimer's.

I think her season 2 material was decent enough. But, yeah, I think the death of her sister was probably the tipping point. I don't recall her doing/saying anything in season three that particularly stands out in my mind, with the exception of her basically accepting the fact that she and Will are friends. But this season has just been ridiculous.

Her dressing as the Grinch and destroying the Christmas tree in Season 2 was ridiculous (and not in a good way).

I thought the homecoming football game episode immediately after Christmas felt more like classic Sue though.

Funeral was probably the best episode she ever had. Not only did Jane Lynch get to do some actual dramatic acting, she also got some really good one-liners in the midst of the angst.

What I miss the most are the little human moments Sue had sprinkled around.

The scenes with her sister. In the Season 1 finale, where we find out she voted for New Directions.

She still gets an occasional "heart grows three sizes" scene, like with Marley and her mom this last Christmas, but she's such a cartoon character the rest of the time that they don't mean anything anymore.

I still enjoy their scenes. I liked when she wrote the recommendation letter for Will, for once.

They toned her down this season. The Minaj stuff was the most outrageous Sue has done in this season, and since the Grinch, I think.

She hasn't been bothering me much this season, mostly because they've been keeping her to a minimum.

The League of Doom was such a letdown. It could have been epic hilarity, instead it was completely ineffectual and just fizzled into nothingness.

They really dropped the ball on that one, and they so could have made a second one in Season 3 or even this season with Roz, Sebastian, Hunter, and Kitty.

Before they let Sebastian fizzle out and made Kitty nice and boring, they were better villains than Dustin Goolsby and Sandy Ryerson anyway.

Such squandered opportunities.

If Sebastian ever found out about Blaine's hookup with Facebook Eli, I see him immediately firing Blaine a text and being like "what, you didn't call me??"

I don't think Kitty is "nice". She just has some humanity in her like Sue.

Nah. Her offering to walk Unique home with the other three pretty much sealed it. She's one of them now.

The writers forgot that they could focus on Sue by focusing on the UT and giving them storylines that went together. Sue shouldve gotten focus like Shue did in s1 and if they had kept that up they wouldnt have had to abuse the character so much.

Rachel's audition song for Funny Girl is "Don't Stop Believing".

Just listened to Heather singing "Dancing On My Own". Shame it was cut. One of the rare songs that Heather/Brittany is actually suited for.

I mean, I love the girl, but she had no business singing Whitney last season... :o

Marley's original song for Regionals is called "You Have More Friends Than You Know", and it's sung by her, Blaine, Sam and Unique. The original composer is Mervyn Warren.

Jessica Sanchez will play the a "legendary singer from a rival High School glee club". She'll feature in episodes 21 and episode 22. Regionals is in the season finale.

So I assume they are extending the school year into next season?

People have speculated they might, but it's still up in the air. They could easily skip it.

I liked Whitney cover. It was light and fun.

Watched the Wake Me Up Before You Go Go performance. So I guess the writers have forgotten that Blaine's hair is "supposed" to look like a huge mess unless he gels the ever-loving **** out of it? :o

Well, it's a fantasy sequence. That's Blaine's fantasy hair.

And that's quite the BS excuse you thought up there. :oldrazz:

The rare occasions they just let Darren have his own damn hair for a scene or two make me wish they'd just let him look like that all the time.

Seriously, the entire tub of gel in his hair looks ridiculous.
