i actually found the most believable one to be unique.. it's pretty damn common for gay/bisexual/transgendered kids to pretend to be someone else online when they're young and insecure. I think it's actually a pretty "real" storyline, which im all for on glee. Vs their bizarrely over dramatic soap opera elements.

Yeah, but still. It was SOOOOOOO god damn predictable. I hate predictability.

It would've been interesting to see Ryder accuse [BLACKOUT]Unique[/BLACKOUT] just to find out it wasn't them, but they just outright made it them, and it suuuuucks.

eh. i would have found ANY of the girls doing the same thing to be just as un-enjoyable and predictable.

Yeah, you can't really fault the show for being predictable. The writers really only have two settings: Predictable and Nonsensical.

The former is the lesser evil.

Dynamic Duets was all-out goofy time, and I thought it was one of the most enjoyable episodes of the season.

I actually am extremely glad Brittany will either be gone or missing most of the season next year. She grated my nerves so much this season.

Yet to watch the finale, but it pretty much sounds like it was destined to go aka anti-climatic and predictable.

I'll at least give Ryan credit for staying focused all season.

Barring the finale...

I've kinda enjoyed the season to be honest. Sure, it's not season 1 quality, but I thought the fact they kept themselves to a goal and a certain form of storytelling really helped them sort of maintain the stupidity of the show in general and make it entertaining again and less in a ''ughh" way and more of a ''hmm. alright." way.

It's not the best show on TV and it's never been the best show on TV but it's at least returned to a fun weekly guilty pleasure.

I loved what they did with a majority of the characters minus taking so long to get Santana to New York, Tina's whole crush on Blaine, and the whole Catfish thing.

I thought the New York side of things needed a lot of work. It could really dull down the show at points and frankly there's just not enough regularly recurring characters there to do anything yet, so you ended up with a lot of scenes in the same locations and they all sort of ran together.

Season 5 really needs to bring some more people in there, because Santana, Kurt, and Rachel aren't cutting it and I love Rachel and Santana. Because when you have Adam, Brody, and 2 celeb guest stars as the other characters there and they all amount to nothing/disappear. What is there to do?

On the Ohio side of things? Brittany & Sam just became this really unbearable duo of inhumanly possible stupidty for me, but when Sam was away from Brittany I found myself enjoying him more, Blaine actually has become somewhat of a favorite of mine now that they're giving him more comedic moments.

I started the season off really not liking Kitty but despite the methods of how there seemed to no in between of her being total evil ***** to nicest girl in town, I've come to finally sort of like her.

Unique, Ryder, Jake, and Marley all interest me. Marley and Jake more so in the beginning of the season than the end, but Jacob Artist's dancing and voice makes up for the lack of personality that Jake seems to have.

As does Melissa's acting and singing when it comes to just how unbelivable sugary sweet and naive Marley is.

Unique was probably the most fun new addition to the Glee Club for me. So naturally she's the one they've done the least with so far. It looks like season 5 could potentially change that though.

I felt the adult characters were pretty useless and just there, some I was glad that was the case (Sue and Will have grown tiresome.) and others were saddening (Emma and Beiste.)

I'm rambling so I'm just gonna say overall despite it being flawed (and when hasn't Glee been flawed). I have enjoyed season 4 for what it was.

My favorite part of season 4 was seeing Finn as a teacher. He really fit the role well, even if he didn't have a teaching degree. That and Kitty were awesome. Hopefully they give Finn some more good stuff in S5.

That episode felt more like a mid-season break episode than an actual season finale.

I'm interested to see where Ryder/Unique goes after this.

And for a character that has grated one me for a majority of the season I felt that that was an appropriate way to send Brittany off.

Jessica Sanchez was a waste. Girl was the most talented singing wise on that stage but she barely got any screen time and she never really even got a chance to show if she could even actually act.

Just finished watching it and yeah it didn't really feel like a season finale. It was mediocre which is nothing surprising.

My favorite parts surprisingly involved Brittany after her first scene. Even though I hate this whole MIT thing it was nice that when she finally leaves she is almost what I wanted her to be and wasn't ridiculously stupid.

I don't even care about Klaines storyline so not going to bother saying any more on it.

Glad that this whole catfish is over with. Only good thing about it is that Unique may get more screen time.

Glee butchered Icona Pops "I Love It". Should've left it for Santana/Mercedes/Kurt/Rachel and not cut out the other half of the lyrics.

Which brings me to the graduates...it is such a waste to have half of them together, in the same room, and not even interacting with one another. I don't need them to serve as the newbies groupies. And I had to laugh at Nayas ever changing hair color in every scene she was in.

Of course they tried cramming way to much into this episode which isn't anything new. They either need to get rid of Lima or NY or give Lima half a season and NY half a season like its been speculated.

This season had a lot of potential but of course it was untapped, so many more interesting storylines they could have done but haven't and probably wont.

Pretty accurate comment from LeakyNews' recap, IMO

“The biggest oversight of the episode was Kurt and Blaine; they are arguably the biggest story arc on the series right now, and they had one scene together, during which they didn’t speak to each other or EVEN MAKE EYE CONTACT. The writers have mishandled Kurt’s side of their breakup so severely that as it stands, Kurt may be madly in love with Blaine and trying to come to terms with it, or he may be completely disinterested while Blaine is daydreaming about their wedding. We just don’t know. They’re telling half of a story, and they’re not even doing that well. This goes for all of the core couples that were broken up this season, really, but it’s most obvious with Kurt and Blaine.”

Also, whether Kurt is still in love with Blaine and trying to come to terms with it, or disinterested seems to vary willy nilly from one episode to the next.

I think that all boils down to Ryan is either:

A) Trying to decide if he wants to appease Klaine shippers and get them back together.
B) Be realistic and actually have Kurt explore other options.

I'm hoping for B for both of them. I mean we know they'll get back together eventually. Especially since they'll both be in the same place when Blaine graduates, but I'd much much much rather them both get to explore NYC as single gay men than always be each other's boyfriends.
