I hope they perform PDiddys I'll be missing you in 5x03.

And I just remembered that they will be celebrating the big 100 this season. Hope they make it as great as 100th episodes should be.

If they had maintained season 1 quality over the past few seasons, I'd be heavily anticipating the 100th. Currently, I'm expecting something that's okay at best.

Lea just tweeted this and said "today"

Sources say Lea has a small role in Finn's episode, but comes in toward the end and sings.

^ That might be for the better.

In other news, Phoebe Strole has been cast as Sam's new girlfriend, Penny Owens, a college sophomore who wants to become a nurse.

Out of the new characters, the only ones that remain to be cast is Funny Girl male lead Henry, Funny Girl director Roderick Easton, academic Jim Elliot (likely Ryder's father) and Jurgen, the thick-accented European.

Supposedly she asked for limited screentime in the Finn episode. I'm assuming it was too hard on her to have a big role in it.

Lack of Rachel means there better be a sufficient amount of Will. I don't care how they've been neglecting him, he's top 3 with Rachel and Kurt of the lead characters who will be most affected by Finn's death.

Romy Rosemont and Mike O'Malley confirmed they'll be there, thank God.

5x03 is titled "The Quarterback" and set entirely in Lima.

Quinn apparently won't be back for it.

Quinn not being back makes me very nervous for this episode. Esp if Rachel only has a small role, Quinn should be around. Now I am worried that the newbies will have to much to do.

Well, Ryder and Marley were rather important character for Finn's development in Season 4. I could see them having a little bit more to do in the episode.

I can understand Lea not wanting a big role in this episode, but Burt, Carole, and Kurt better be given their due.

I want Puck to have a big part, he was Finn's best friend.

Quinn not having a role is unfortunate, but at the same time, it's not something we were promised. Dianna's no longer a regular and, for all we know, she's already got prior commitments. It'd be nice if she could show up and have a reaction to it at some point, but it's not the end of the world for her to not be involved in the tribute.

I only hope she's not the first of many who are being left out.

What I'm seeing is that basically everyone important, with the exception of Quinn and Brittany, is coming back for the tribute.

And also Lovato is in fact Santana's love interest.

Blaine is starting to make me find Darren annoying. :o

I have to wonder how weird it is for the cast to do the first two episodes like everything's normal, with the third hanging over their heads. It seems like it'd be easier to move on after they get that one over with.

It probably wasn't ideal for the cast, but for the storytelling, I don't think the tribute being the premiere episode would've necessarily been the right note to start out on.

It appears Blaine really will propose.

Also, Ryder's cliffhanger about leaving the glee club appears to be all but forgotten.

Some very diligent fans studied set pictures of the cast enough to find that Colfer is wearing a ring, so unless Chris and his boyfriend Will are getting hitched, looks like Kurt's engaged.

While Shannen Doherty didn't die in real life, s4 of charmed started out with a funeral which was good. I wouldn't have been against. Glee starting off that way. What's going to be weird is if after ep3 they go on like everything is fine and dandy.

I don't imagine they would. At the same time, they're not going to open every episode from now on with someone crying in the rain and saying "I can't believe he's gone", because the show is still Glee, but this is something that is going to have lasting effects. Finn was the first student Will really made a connection to, Finn was Kurt's brother and the love of Rachel's life (not to mention Lea's boyfriend). I think those three are going to carry the loss around with them until the end.

I imagine some of the Glee club will bounce back fairly quickly, the younger kids didn't know him all that well. But the older gang, and those three mentioned, are going to carry the scars.

Assuming they don't ignore Kurt's POV and use him to prop up up Rachel like they sometimes have a way of doing.

But Rachel's barely even in the episode, so here's hoping Kurt actually gets the reaction he should have.

Thank God Carole's in that episode. It doesn't sit right with me that Quinn won't be though.
