I'm sure the ratings will spike with the Finn tribute episode. As for me, I have pretty much stopped watching the show. I just watch the performances on Glee's youtube channel.

What the hell did Dianna Agron and Jenna Ushkowitz do to piss off Ryan Murphy, anyway?

He seems to despise them.

Cory's death is causing a lot of viewers to stop watching. The Finchel fandom which is a pretty sizable chunk are mostly all gone after the Cory episode.

I highly doubt that. Finchel were apart majority of S4 and it didn't make the ratings go down nor did them briefly getting back together make the ratings go up. I think it has more to do with people being over how poorly the show is written.

Probably because they actively wanted their characters to be better and spoke up about it.

Chris Colfer isn't a master of subtlety in interviews about how bored he gets with Klaine and Kurt's material sometimes. But I guess he's immune because he represents Murphy's fantasy view of himself.

But Kurt likely turned into a cash cow for him, so he gets a bit of a pass.

Murphy does seem very juvenile and pissy when it comes to being a boss and expecting his cast to bow to his every whim. No wonder so many of them wanted out in the past. Lord help him if he ever gets that way with some of the people on AHS, because if he tries to pull that with women like Bassett and Bates, hoo boy, he'll have him a whole new place to crap out of.

He can probably get away with it more with the Glee cast, because except for a couple cast members like Jane Lynch and Mike O'Malley, none of them were really anybody before Glee or established apart from it, thus more dependent on him and powerless to defy his will.

Then again, he also treats guest stars like Idina Menzel and Gloria Estefan and would-be guests like Anne Hathaway shabby.

He couldn't make time for Anne Hathaway but NeNe Leakes can be a recurring role over 3 seasons. SMH.

The difference between Glee cast and AHS cast is that the AHS are established actors who have a lot of pull whereas the Glee cast are still new and need the show more than the show needs them.

And Kurt isn't exactly getting any great writing since Season 3. Might not be as noticeable but Kurt has been boring for me for the most part.

Yea, he was a secondary character to Rachel and Blaine for most of Season 4 and we didn't get much POV from him about the break-up while we got Blaine talking about it constantly.

Kinda makes you wonder if Colfer made too many pithy comments in interviews.

Oh, I get that, I was just saying that he better keep himself in check with the AHS crew. Still doesn't make it excusable to pull that with young actors either. He seems like someone who gets an ounce of power and it can go to his head. It'll catch up with him one day.

Murphy's treatment of Dianna Agron definitely smacks of a petty, vindictive bully.

That's why I couldn't look past The New Normals SING comparison. The writers/RM love to take from real life.

Hell, Murphy's even vindictive toward shippers who piss him off on Twitter. He's incredibly petty.

Didn't he also pretty much lay all the blame on people like Lea and Chris about mentioned the possible Glee spin-off too early and that's why he canceled it?

He isn't good with criticism. Brittana shippers asking the most innocent question get a rude response or laying out the obvious about ND getting through to Nationals when it should've gone to the Warblers gets a "its only a tv show"

You guys mean Ryan Murphy is probably an ***hole?

Please tell me more things I was unaware of. :o

It's true, though. Every time I see him in an interview, I just get ***** vibes from him. He just seems like there's an attitude bubbling under the surface.

It's funny, thought, that you mention him snapping at fans on twitter. He gets asked pretty simple questions and rages, while people pretty much tell Damon Lindelof that he should kill himself on Twitter and he takes it all in stride.

Some Brittana shipper perfectly politely and innocently asked if there was any hope for their ship, and Murphy said "wouldn't you rather see Santana in a real relationship?".

I mean, it may be true, but it's just unnecessarily rude and snarky.

Ryan's an asshat sometimes, but then again... so are SOOO many of the online-glee community. I don't really blame his snarky-ness at times

When it is deserved it is deserved. But even the media was turning against RM and co. during S2/3 when they kept on lying about everything during interviews.

"Don't worry, guys, Ashley Fink will be back for a BIG storyline with Colfer in the back half of Season 3!"

That made me so mad. There was no good reason to get rid of Zizes and then you lie about it on top of that?

I think that was the beginning of the end for me. There was no reason to get rid of her and she added a different dynamic to the group, and I don't think Puck ever went forward much more after their relationship ended.
