Then they'll sing "We can't stop" and "Wrecking Ball".

And, as it happened with the JB episode, He'll say that "Miley's VMAs performance is part of Pop culture..."
It was a silly performance, and I expect them to poke fun of it. Won't mind that.

Hope they don't actually try to make it a discussion about feminist, though.

I don't know who the **** Bree is, and I don't really care enough to try and remember.

The new cheerio who is supposed to be a biatch. I think she was overacted for her couple of scenes.
Santana will talk to her in 5x03.

Just caught up on the premiere, the whole proposal stuff was hilariously corny, where does Blaine get those clothes. :funny:

Blaine hugging Sebastian...

The girl who plays Kitty is the best actress on the show right now IMO, I love how she shines in the background in big numbers as well.

Loved the scene in Principal Sues office, some of best put-downs in a while. :D

Watching Tina all bitter as Kitty came out about Artie had me thinking why none of the characters notice, then in the next scene Blaine is pretty much speaking my thoughts. Not sure a song followed by a pity date offering was something a real person would react well to though.

Music was decent as expected with the theme, I liked the Rachel and Santana performance the best. Surprised they didn't Money can't but me Love and Get by with a Little help from my friends.

In the interest of watching something I'd actually enjoy (aka The Joseph Morgan/Daniel Gillies Being Awesome Hour), I'm going to save what I'm sure will be tonight's crapfest for tomorrow.

The show has never seemed to care about Tina, even when it wanted us to think it did.

Ryan Murphy treats Jenna Ushkowitz like she ran over his baby or something.

The timeline of how the show treats Tina is basically...

First third of season One: Stuttering girl
Last two-thirds: Not stuttering anymore girl
Season Two: Asian girl in Asian relationship with other Asian guy, Mike
Season Three: Mike gets spotlight: he is now main Asian, she is "Other" Asian
First half of season Four: Girl who suddenly has a really ****ty attitude
Second half of season Four: Girl who suddenly thinks she can successfully flip a gay guy
Now: Ryan Murphy's punching bag and he doesn't care who knows it

Rachel's face at the end of the promo as Schue is holding her....

I thought Hummelberry's Get Back was fun. It's nice sometimes to see Rachel and/or Kurt just sing something fun once in a while instead of what Sue would call "some treacly ballad".

Well...can you talk about rushed? and lacking substance?

Tina becoming a major diva after her de*****ing last episode was stupid. Of course she cant finish a song. And her assistant who only shown up like twice is suddenly back.

Great that Santana landed a commercial but of course it has to be upstaged by Rachel "surprisingly" getting the lead in Funny Girl. Because NO ONE saw that one coming from a mile away. Does Rachel have to work for anything? It is so annoying that she doesn't have to struggle for any of her dreams. They just land in her lap.

Sams new love interest=BORING.

Brees little rant to Kitty was somewhat enjoyable. Though bringing her out of nowhere just to hate on the Glee club is BORING.

Prom held no meaning what so ever. And I tired of the Glee club having to put on a smile and being the bigger people.

Hopefully since they have to take next weeks episode seriously we will get something that resembles what the show used to be.

Tina is just the writers' punching bag at this point for whatever reason. All they ever do is make her look stupid, have her be randomly *****y for no reason, or get dumped on.

Yea, Rachel getting the lead in Funny Girl was about as tension-fueled and surprising as New Directions winning competitions has been ever since Season 1.

Sam is still in desperate need of a haircut, and who the **** cares about Bree or Nurse Penny?

I know I'm just waiting in unbearable anticipation wondering when Bree will see the light, become instantly redeemed, and join New Directions. Will she be redeemed before or after?? Will her heartwarming duet be with Tina or Kitty?? Oh, the suspense!

Okay, finally watched this episode in its entirety.

I thought it was better than the first Beatles episode.

Sue was funny again, so that was something.

Nurse Penny had a couple funny moments, and I didn't have a problem with Demi Lovato. Dani and Santana were cute enough. Though Murphy had to throw shade at bisexuals.

I liked "Get Back". It's nice to see Rachel and/or Kurt do a fun number instead of just slow ballads all the time.

Really don't care about Bree, or Dottie Kazatori, or Tina, or that entire ridiculous over-the-top storyline. Tina alternating between being the writers' punching bag and randomly a roaring *****y diva for no reason every other episode is really old, as is their never letting her finish a freaking song. It's like poking a half-dead fly at this point.

5x03 promo in better quality:

And I just noticed they did what I wanted them to do: Finn's photo in the choir room:

As she deserves to be treated...

Pretty good episode last night. Specially Naya and Demi. :hrt:

I only watch this show for Kitty now, especially after next weeks goodbye to Finn, my previous reason. And she's a good enough reason for me to continue watching:hrt:

I didn't realize this show was back

Why are Tina and Artie still in HS?

The schoolyear got split between season 4 and the first portion of season 5.

Sooooooooooooo glee scoulda taken note of across the Universe on how TO do Beatles..... Because the numbers for the most part were pretty bland and beyond boring....

What a weird episode, with all of the winking at the camera lines that basically acknowledged the criticisms many fans have made about the show.

The stuff in New York was good and I thought it produced the two best numbers apart from the big 'Let it Be' finale which I thought worked really well.

The Tina arc that ran through the ep was so poorly written, it seemed more about Kitty's redemption than anything because Tina acted like a cow throughout and didn't really deserve the nice thing Kitty did for her, and they even had Sam hammer home more than once that (ITO) she's not hot.

The new machine gun mouthed Cheerio Bree seems a fun addition, I wonder if they'll wait until season 6 to redeem her or just do it in ep 6 of this season.

Even with the theme stretching across 2 episodes they still missed out some of my favourite Beatles songs! :cmad:

Out of the Beatles numbers, I liked Yesterday, Get Back, and Let It Be.

Gotta Get You Into My Life, Hey Jude, and All You Need Is Love were okay.

Rest were "meh".

She's already joining the club in the next few episodes. I suspect soon. Her bullying is even being presented as being for a good cause, at least on Sue's eyes.
