I liked here comes the sun..... But that's just because i love the song and am impartial to it considering it was the song my mom walked down the aisle to at her wedding

The schoolyear got split between season 4 and the first portion of season 5.
if its still the middle of last school year, then where is Britney?

Just saw episode 2 and didn't feel sorry for Tina. She deserved that IMO

She went to MIT early or some ****, I can't remember. I don't think I even watched the last finale in its entirety actually...

It was just a lame excuse to write Heather Morris off the show because she was having a baby.

Speaking of Brittany, did she and Sam break up and I missed or forgot about it? I've counted zero references to the two of them this season, and it's reminding me of how damn frustrated I was by the show never acknowledging Sam/Mercedes after season three. Now, I never really liked Sam/Brittany, but come on, Glee, be a little less fickle.

Hey, I did forget!

I'd still like the show to be less fickle.

Did anyone else think that Penny looked a bit like Amy Adams?

She's already joining the club in the next few episodes. I suspect soon. Her bullying is even being presented as being for a good cause, at least on Sue's eyes.

Is she joining the club to destroy it from the inside though?

Man oh man, I hate Tina I never feel bad for her ever. She has been the worst character for a while.

Sooooooooooooo glee scoulda taken note of across the Universe on how TO do Beatles..... Because the numbers for the most part were pretty bland and beyond boring....

They already completely ripped off I Wanna Hold Your Hand from ATU.

I like Blaine went from captain of the Cheerios at the end of S4 to not even being on the squad like it of course never happened.

And Bree was right, it is ridiculous that a Glee club member has won Prom Queen 3 years in a row. Sure Kurts was just to embarrass him and Rachels was out of pity from Quinn/Santana but if they do prom next year they need to change it up.

At least they're not pretending Glee Club is so bottom of the social barrel anymore while every year half the Prom nominees are in Glee Club.

This episode was, again, pretty meh.

And like last episode, because the songs had pretty bland performances, and downright confusing or too predictable placement. (Here comes the sun, and the sunset scene, seemed so forced in).

Only thing I liked was Sue plotting to motivate New Directions by giving them an enemy, and sabatoging them. I liked that she acknowledged that her trying to sabotage them in the past just motivated them rather than demoralizing them.

Probably not. She's supposed to create challenges for them to overcome, joining will probably make that easier.

I wonder how long they will stick to that before she becomes one of the team! Is she a singe or dancer?

She's a singer. Might be a dancer, too.

I imagine it won't take very long.

Kitty is a singer and dancer but look at how much they utilize either of her talents.

Naya said it best when she said the newbies have it easy since all they do is run around and sing a happy song now.

Which was exactly what she did until she became popular halfway through season 2. Kitty has become very popular and already had a noticeable screen time increase.

Difference is that Santana wasn't suppose to be anything but a reoccurring character. Kitty was thought out to be around full time.

And episode 3 songs are out and they are saddening. All of them are great, though Shuester and Kurt should have had a song

I think this season Kitty will take center stage for the McKinley group as Marley didn't have a line in the first two eps that I can recall.

I'm currently listening to Naya's "If I Die Young". I am not ready for this ****...

Take with a grain of salt since I don't have a source but someone on another forum said that RM stated somewhere that "Ryan Murphy came out explaining why Diana Agron is not in the episode. He said the episode was written for the main cast as it is now. He only included non-current main cast/guest stars if they asked him to be in it."

Which I have to call bull to.
