Musical Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - - - - Part 15

Ok I'm like 2 minutes into this episode and I'm already losing it at Sue's inner monologue about the fork, the hurt locker, the writers using Sue to parody crazed Klaine shippers, and the "missing" sticker above Matt Rutherford.

And it worked beautifully.

And between this and Shameless, it seems Harry Hamlin might be starting to get typecast as "older gay man lusting after younger twink".

It was beautiful, and then the writers had to go and ruin it with hypnotism and Sam still having leftover feelings for Mercedes for some reason.

Would someone like to explain to me how Karofsky went from crushing on Kurt to dating/possibly banging a number of giant ass bears, and then somehow landed on Blaine?

Well it's been like two years since we last saw him.

But yea.

So like Sawyer said, Karofsky had a crush on Kurt and is dating Blaine, but we're supposed to believe bears are his "type"?

Right, because Kurt and Blaine are so butch.

I'm not really sure how/why that's hard to believe.

Because the episode makes it out like big burly bears are Karofsky's "type", which doesn't make any sense with his attractions to Kurt and Blaine.

Hm, I suppose I would have liked to see other "types" at the restaurant to show a bit of diversity... but yeah, with all the trash this episode was throwing out there that was the least of it's problems.

Sam has now officially put his tongue down the throat of every girl in New Directions (at least ND 1.0).

And probably Blaine at some point offscreen.

The whole Samchel thing actually wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't induced by....hypnosis.

And yea, those Vocal Adrenaline numbers were nowhere near as impressive as they were made out to be. They felt like the random goofy number from that obligatory third show choir we see in competitions that everyone knows is irrelevant, not the supposed dreaded powerhouse.

Finally watching this episode and it is so bizarre, it is RIDICULOUS. But I am enjoying it, well all the Sue parts that is. This show has clearly finally driven me mad. But it is so refreshing this season that they remembered that there is a world outside of McKinley.

Though it is annoying that we had to spend 2 episodes with Originals focusing on barely anyone original. But an episode without them, the boring 4some get total focus.

It is obvious that Karofsky could only manage to get it on with other bears all the while he was imagining Kurt and Blaines face when they were causing those random earthquakes around Lima, Ohio. Though he probably pretends that he is dating Kurt while he is with Blaine. They probably role play old Kurt/Blaine scenes in the privacy of their earthquake-proof room of love.

and yes that VA performance was HORRIBLE. They like to waste their guest stars talents dont they? Have a guy from a semi popular boyband and you have them perform those songs? I guess Shuester is just that horrible that he brings any team down.

The fewer references we get to Blainofsky's sex life, the better.

Like a hippo trying to mount a dachshund.

Don't tease me... :csad:

Well it was made canon last episode that when they lived together in NYC, Sam used to shave Blaine's back....

So, question to regular viewers. I ended up sitting through the most recent episode (judging by reading the last page or so) because my mum had it on, is it usually this...bizarre?

They heightened the bizarre last night. Which I actually prefer.

Last nights episode was like Glee on drugs.

Good drugs too. Not Glee on a gas leak like that f***ing puppet episode.

No this was like the weirdest episode in six seasons. Even weirder than Dynamic Duets and Puppet Master.

Easily my favorite thing about last night's messy LCD trashfest was Abigail Figgins. So bizarre. Like I ****ing love Iqbal Thelba totally one of their most underrated comedic performers and he just totally hammed up that entire scene/character.

I can't decide if I want her to really be his sister or Figgins as a third job posing as his sister who doesn't really exist because he's that hard up for money and misses his dream job after Sue outsed him from Principal status.

Either way, it's pretty amazingly stupid and I love it. I usually hate when Glee is that dumb, but I seemed to enjoy the dumbness last night.

As for Samchel and the hypnotism?

Please Sue may have hypnotized the actions out of Sam, but you can't exactly hypnotize chemistry into one of two people either.

I'm fairly sure Sam only acted on this stuff that Sue made him do because it wasn't like she asked him to do anything strangely bizarre that would be outside of his moral rule books.
