It's not the finale, its already been listed as 6x09 and a synopsis is already out. It explores why the original 5 joined ND. Don't know why they didn't put Naya/HeMo in it, still wonder whose decision it was to have their last episode be 6x08.

The production number was 6.09, but that doesn't mean it will be shown as the 9th episode of the season. The date for "2009" has been taken off of fox flash and "Child Star" is now airing on the date that "2009" would have aired, meaning 2009 has been moved. We don't know when that episode is airing now. Also, Jane Lynch said in an interview a while ago that it was considered for the finale episode before they moved it, but they might have moved it again. Apparently the finale is two parts like the premiere. So maybe they flash back to the beginning of glee club for part one and then go back to the present for part two.

Well yeah, now they took it down, but they originally had it up for 6x09. But that would not be the way I want to this show to end, even though half the people wont be back either way.

Yea, same. I don't want a flashback episode to be the ending.

I want to end with Rachel/Kurt/Blaine back in NYC and preferably accomplishing something, though it looks like we're running out of time for that to happen...
