Finn and Rachel are heinously self-absorbed. I kind of hope the rest of the Glee club really stresses the fact that they could give two ****s about them as a couple this season.

Glee just went through what a lot of shows go through (hopefully). The sophmore slump. With all these new writers I hope season3 can be a step up.

And when it comes to performing at Sectionals or Regionals or Nationals, I hope everyone is like "hell to no!" at Finn/Rachel taking center stage. And even though it was brought up before only to be quickly forgotten, they dont and shouldnt need to play 2nd fiddle to Finchel when it comes to performing.

True that. But through most of Season 2, especially the back half, I had more sympathy for Rachel than Finn. Possible minority opinion, but I've always seen Rachel as a good person to the extent that her relentlessly self-absorbed nature allows her to be. Season 2 had Finn devolve from the dim-bulb but basically good-hearted guy he started as in Season 1 into a straight-up arrogant hypocritical ******bag half the time who's more worried about making quarterback than his mom's boyfriend being in a coma or his soon-to-be stepbrother getting assaulted in the hallways, and steals his teammate's girlfriend but goes into fits of righteous outrage when someone cheats on him.

I really want to see more competition performances that aren't completely monopolized by Finchel. Sure, Rachel's got a powerhouse voice, but she's not the only one who can sing. Kurt, Mercedes, Santana, and Tina are all worthy of leading a number.

The only moment where I wanted to applaud Jesse St. James (aside from his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody) was when he rightfully pointed out that most of New Directions are better singers than Finn. It was like "yes! finally someone states the obvious!".

Remember back in January when Anne Hathaway met "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy at the Golden Globes, and she was going to guest-star on the show, and it was all going to happen within a few weeks of that?

Yeah -- it hasn't happened. But Hathaway hopes it still does.

"I'm planning on it. I don't know if they're planning on it," Hathaway tells PopSugar.

In the interview, the "One Day" star recounts the events of her Golden Globes meeting with Murphy, saying that she told Murphy she was a "Glee" fan when she passed by his table. He then said she should guest on the show, she said yes, and by the end of the night Murphy was telling reporters it was a done deal.

"He went back to the press room and said, 'Anne Hathaway is going to be on the show,' and that became like a news event," she says. "And I never heard from him again [laughs]. Ryan Murphy, I'm calling you out: I want to be on 'Glee.' I've got my songs picked out."

Will Murphy relax his no-stunt-casting edict for Hathaway this season? Do you think he should?

Brittany/Britney is my least favorite episode of Season 2, and maybe the whole series.

I love, love, love, love "Me Against The Music" so much, and it's easily one of the best covers of the entire series. But I agree, after that, I had to stop watching the episode.

Does anyone besides me get a kick out of the fact that Loser Like Me and Light Up the World are pretty much the same song?

Eh, not really, because I don't really care for either. haha

Eh. I somewhat liked Loser Like Me, but when I listened to Light Up the World, my immediate response was "Goddammit, we've already been over this! :cmad:"

They're just reminding you it's okay to be yourself! :o

But no, I just had a whacky and zany idea:

Take New Directions and throw them into The Walking Dead.

See who comes out as a leader, who sides with who, everything like that.

I could honestly see Noah being a leader, he's more a man than Finn or Will will ever be. I could also see Santana being a leader too. Or Quinn.

Hell, I could see Santana and Brittany running off to survive on their own, too. Which would actually be something really, really, really interesting to see.

Will the TWD characters still be there? Because I'm fairly sure Quinn would throw herself on Shane's d*** the second she laid eyes on him. Before inevitable cheating on him with either Finn or Puck.

Oh yeah for sure they'd be there without a doubt. Mental nut-cases like Shane and Quinn would be a match made Heaven.

I'd like to see Carl shoot Finn in the head. :o:up:

As bad as it is to say, Finn would most likely be that person too dumb to die.

I can definitely see Puck and Santana being the survivalists of the group.

I kind of see Sue becoming the leader of some quasi-military survivalist stronghold in some abandoned city somewhere like Tina Turner in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

I see Beiste and Zizes being the tough-as-nails women who take out dozens of zombies and then let the rest close in before pulling the pins on the grenade strapped to their bodies.

And yea, Finn would probably outlast everyone through sheer dumb luck.

Rachel would be the first one down. I'd bet on that.

Well.... maybe, except Artie. :o

What about Kurt? Sure, he seems delicate, but he's pretty feisty when he has to be.

I could see him being a surprise hardass when faced with a zombie apocalypse.

Poor Artie wouldn't have a chance. Unless Beiste slings him over her shoulder and carries him to safety while blowing away every zombie in their path in total BAMF fashion.

Ha, Santana would probably break Rachel's kneecaps to buy herself some time.

Beiste would own in a zombie apocalypse.

I see Kurt being a survivor, but no one HUGE or anything like that. Blaine too. Only real people I literally saw dying would probably be Tina, Will, and probably Quinn.

Quinn would mostly likely die due to a human more than a zombie.

Actually, I see Beiste being the leader, I really do. Puck second in charge.
