I could go for some more alt. rock on the show. Like, say...

after watching season 2 i am wondering if they will do something new for season 3 . any spoilers what will happen in season 3?

Sure....I hear in this season that there will be a love triangle between Finn, Rachel and Quinn. Finn will be with one of them, but feel like he is being cheated on and move to the other (before going back of course) all while causing one of them to almost skip a major singing competition during one of the sweeps episodes! Sue will try to sabotage them from winning and at the last minute have a change of heart....and they'll be shown up by Vocal Adrenaline. Brittany and Santana will have a will-they-or-won't-they cat/mouse love story the whole season and Artie will throw himself pity parties for being in a wheelchair and take it out on whoever he's dating!

....And get this--you'll want to keep this one under your hat--I hear that Darren Criss will be singing multiple Top 40s hits from the last six months throughout the season!

Be prepared.

No, there won't be a love triangle between Finchel and Quinn. Puck and Quinn have their own plot this season.

- Sue is running for Congress on a platform of cutting the arts from public schools

- Will is starting a school musical project

- Blaine transfers to McKinley and joins New Directions

- Rachel's mother is coming back to teach at McKinley, bringing Quinn and Puck's daughter with her

- Rachel, Finn, Kurt, and Mike and probably some others are graduating at the end of this season

- Rachel and Kurt are planning to go to college in NYC and make it on Broadway after graduation. Lea Michele (Rachel) has said she has a lot of storylines with Kurt and Blaine this season.

- Sam is gone because Chord Overstreet didn't come back for whatever reason, and Mercedes has a new boyfriend from the football team

Well I'm glad we know that Quinn can look up in anything.

I think he was saying that season 3 will be like the first two seasons, and history will just keep repeating itself.

Quinn looks awesome with pink hair. Though Dianna Agron looks great no matter what.

Cory Monteith has said in an interview that he thinks Season 2 lost track of the show's roots, and Season 3 is going to be more like Season 1 (which was much better-focused than Season 2, IMO).

Ryan Murphy says they're going to focus less on relationship drama and more on the characters trying to achieve their dreams, and that Klaine and Finchel are going to be solid throughout the season. Though he also said Finchel wasn't breaking up in Season 2, and look how long that lasted (Episode 9).

Yeah, Schlosser, I saw Cory say that too. A big wig at Fox also says that Season 2 kind of lost itself in guest stars and tribute episodes, season 3 is going to be way more focused towards the kids. Focused more on their plans for life, not plans for sectionals and Nationals.

Which I really, really, really, really hope is true.

Murphy has said there's only going to be one tribute episode, and it'll be in the back 9.

And the synopsis for the first episode said Kurt and Rachel are looking for colleges.

I read that Rachel and Kurt's dream of Broadway Stardom comes crashing down in front of them or something?

The Episode 1 synopsis says they pursue Broadway plans but find out they're not as uniquely talented as they assumed.

I think they both imagine themselves just arriving in NYC and striding straight onto a Broadway stage and being overnight sensations, but while they might both have incredible voices for a high school glee club in Lima, Ohio , in NYC they'd be in an infinitely bigger pond full of thousands of other young people after the same thing.

Sure, Rachel can belt out some great power ballads, but so can a lot of other people. Maybe not in Lima, but on Broadway.

Something I'm excited to see, too. Rachel realizing it takes more than being able to sing as well as she does to get her on Broadway. It takes personality and all that jazz.

To be quite honest, I never see Kurt on Broadway.

Well, good. Those two could use a little humility.

I see Kurt being more successful as a fashion designer than a Broadway performer.

If Rachel and Kurt and possibly Blaine move to NYC, the only one I see even having a middling career on Broadway is Rachel, and I don't see her being as successful as she expects to be. I see her being one in the sea of aspiring actresses who pays for her NYC apartment waiting tables and going to hundreds of auditions, always sure her big break is right around the next corner.

I see Kurt as a fashion designer more than a Broadway performer. Kurt primarily sings women's ballads, and he's not going to get those parts over the hundreds of women trying out for them. He wouldn't get those parts even if he sang better than some of the women did, because the director would want a woman in the roles.

I don't see Blaine on Broadway at all, but I also don't think he cares about Broadway. I see Blaine as a teacher, or maybe a glee club director like Schue. He has that calm, collected demeanor that a teacher should have, and he seems to be compassionate and like mentoring people (or trying to).

I see Finn either spending his life in Lima, probably taking over Hummel Tires & Lube when Burt retires, or maybe getting a football scholarship. But I don't see him going far from home, and I don't see him and Rachel lasting beyond HS. She's too much more ambitious than he is.
