Glee IV: Live Free or Gleek Hard

People are seriously taking Sam's comment about being as close friends with Artie as Santana/Brittany as meaning he's gay?

He's not gay, he's just a ****ing idiot. Maybe moreso than Finn, which is a bold move on the writers part. You cant get much dumber than a guy who thinks he can get girls pregnant via hottub.

People are saying that?

And, might I say, it's about ****ing time Schue got over his little fixation on Emma.

More importantly, why the hell can't she get over her fixation on him? He's not that great, Emma, really. Carl seems about a million times better. He doesn't want to rub up on children in Rocky Horror.

It's really no so  worthy. The writers know the speculation about that character. They've admitted to reading Glee Forum and scowering the net for fan reactions. Some fans are debating about Sam's sexuality. They knew that line would initiate that reaction out of a few.

There's a way to show Sam's ''dumb" side without him having to say something vaguely gay. And it's not like it's the first time he has hasn't said something that sent bells off for others.

Great episode, the Britanna plot really got me choked up. Am I the only one who thinks they're setting Holly up to be a ***** though? Her comment after kissing Will and her only deciding to go out with Will after she found out Emma has feelings for him make me think she may be a bit of a psycho.

I thought Holly was a bit of a psycho the first time we met her.

DEFOOOO in my top 5.
AMAZING <333

And LOL at this glee forum/tumblr sam and artie shippers? O_O

I am suitably intrigued by the Brittana storyline, although the character of Santana has some ways to go before truly redeeming herself and getting a happy ending (the "just a stupid boy" comment shows me that she hasn't really changed that much on the inside).

Yea, she selfishly disregarded Artie and Brittany's relationship with him and expected Brittany to just up and leave him as soon as she finally admitted how she feels. But she's a teenager. They tend to be selfish (no offense to any present company).

Overall, while obviously much of it is comedic/parody, Glee actually gets high schooler romantic behavior relatively right. The characters are hopelessly insecure, confused, and unable to see beyond themselves 99% of the time, but that's a majority of people in high school. And obviously even some adults (Mr. Schue, Emma) don't have their **** together 2/3 of the time.

It's life.

Okay. Where to start?

I loved the development Santana got in this episode, and I was a little heartbroken for her. She was wrong for expecting Brittany to instantly leave Artie for her, but I still felt sorry for Santana in the end.

I sometimes forget that the reason Sue liked Quinn so much was because Quinn was also an evil little schemer. Putting aside my hatred for her singing, I liked Quinn a little. She was okay, if not very naive about certain topics. But now I remember that she's also a selfish lying b**** who has no problem with using Finn. She always has been. I don't know why the hell I forgot it until now.

In some weird way, Lauren & Puck have become my favorite couple on the show. The only drama between them is whether or not they're going to have sex anytime soon, and now it seems like they're both content with a little non-intercourse intimacy. Sure, there's no real drama between Mike & Tina either, but they're barely on the show anymore. Lauren & Puck are not only in a good place, but it seems like Puck is maturing because of this relationship, and it's certainly not stopping either character from being funny.

Will & Holly

Will & Emma  COME THE HELL ON! I am getting sick and tired of this "they want each other, but they can never have each other" crap. I was happy to see Holly come back, knowing that Emma was less crazy with her husband Carl. Now the can of worms has been opened again. Shoot me now.

I'm officially filing Kurt & Blaine under "friends" until something actually happens between them. I did like the talk Blaine and Burt had, though. Yeah, Blaine was overstepping, but if there was ever anything that needed to be brought to Burt's attention...

"Landslide" was amazing, and I'd have to say it was the best song of the episode. Not just because of the vocals, but because of the emotional performance attached to it.

That said, "Afternoon Delight" was a laugh riot. It was sang beautifully, but oh-so inappropriate. The looks they got from the crowd were brilliant. Also, everyone on stage just looked silly.

I was surprised that "Kiss" got one of Glee's rare fantasy sequences. I'm just not used to seeing those.

I'm gonna stop here, because nobody should have to read this much.

I personally would like to see more fantasy sequences.

Yeah, that was one of the things I remember people liking a lot about the show. The Chicago-esque way of filming performances.

Bust Your Windows still entertains me. :yay:

Puck/Zizes is the best couple on the show. :o

Not counting Sue/Sue, of course...

You've just been Zized

Santana and Britters I think were the best part of the show. I agree with Schlosser, some of it is comedic like the stork and 'making a porno' parts but they're capturing teen relationships really well especially with everything that goes wrong.

"Kiss" was my favorite song scene, really liked the fantasy sequence.

I really loved the episode. So glad they finally humanized Santana with real feelings. It really progressed her character. Paltrow was hilarious as always. The Kiss performance was really good. I knew that Sam's line would spark controversy but that was just supposed to be funny and that's it. I laughed. Overall, great episode.

It disturbs me greatly that Animal is one of the top Glee songs on iTunes. :csad:

Yeah, and Afternoon Delight is all the way at the bottom. :(

It doesn't surprise me too much. "Animal" is a recent song, and the kids are gonna gravitate toward that one... even if all I can remember about that song is Kurt's velociraptor faces.

The world's love for Darren Criss has grown too strong...

He's a hottie, but I cringe at his hamtastic acting. :csad:
