Beast from the East
I think I remember that one. I loved AYAOTD to death as a kid and still love it, far and away the best show Nickelodeon had in the old days when they were actually a good network with quality programming.
The mid to late 90's were the Golden Age of Nick.
The Adventures of Pete and Pete, All That, Keenan and Kel, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Angry Beavers, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Goosebumps was on Nick or CN I don't remember.
All before Spongebob. That show was great but that's all Nick has now.
A mix of both.Sounds like a good idea. So should they be adaptations or original ideas?
Maybe Curly can finally make his screen debut in a Crypt Keeper-Style intro!![]()

don't forget their game shows too, like Guts, Legends Of The Hidden Temple and Nick Arcade.
I think they should just adapt The Haunted Mask. The TV show was good and all, but they really had to compress a lot of the books. The books were only 90 pages, but that's a lot of material for a 30 minute show (20 minutes without commericals). So, this is a chance to faithfully adapt them.
Aside from The Haunted Mask, these are good books to adapt:
Welcome to Dead House
Stay Out of the Basement
Monster Blood
Say Cheese and Die!
Night of the Living Dummy
The Ghost Next Door (this one has a great twist...if I recall correctly)
A Shocker on Shock Street
welcome to camp nightmare was classic too.
