It's hard to tell from the map but I hope there are a decent number of smaller towns around.

Also this is supposedly a to scale size comaprison between the GTA V map and GTA IV, SA and RDR.

More stuff from Reddit, here's a gif showing a zoom-in from the full map to a character:

I wonder if we could see more areas through DLC?

Edit: Lol. Nice pic, LuisTX85.

I think the yoga woman is Michael's wife and the bald/shaved guy is our mechanic..But who's the hoochie in the skirt/Juggalo&Asian guy?

I already hope I can beat the crap out of that Juggalo with Trevor!

ANyone have any hi-res images of these?

Anyone else miss having well known celebrities voice the characters in these games? I mean they had Samuel L Jackson, Ray Liotta, James Woods, Michael Madeson, Burt Reynolds, etc.

You never know, I'm sure people may turn up somewhere down the line in GTA5 as a cameo.

While awesome I don't miss it. It's not needed to have stars voicing the characters. Not gonna make the game any worse or better IMO.

I do kinda but i think rockstars acknowledged they've had some difficulties in the past working with them. In the end they probably figure, why pay more money to celebs when they can pay less to regular voice actors and still sell the same amount of copies.

With this game taking place in Los Santos though it would have been extra fitting to have a few celeb voice cameos here and there.

Pretty sure some of those guys were in Saints Row instead of GTA; but I hope Ken Jeong voices Tao. If so, he'll be one helluva fun NPC.

Samuel L Jackson - Officer Tenpenny in San Andreas
Ray Liotta - Tommy Vercetti in Vice City
James Woods - Mike Toreno in San Andreas
Michael Madeson - Toni Cipriani in GTA3
Burt Reynolds - Avery Carrington in Vice City

Regarding the map scale, it's probably pretty accurate. Rockstar said a long time ago that the GTA V map was bigger than San Andreas, RDR and GTA IV combined. I find it kind of hard to wrap my head around.

All day today I kept having one thought repeating in my mind: "This time next week, I'll be playing GTA V."

The city looks kinda small in the map doesn't it? I better just wait to play before I open my mouth though.

Its small in comparison to the rural environments, but you can tell just how big the city portion of the game is when comparing it to GTA IV. The city itself is only a small part of the world RS has created for GTA V
