Yeah i've seen that vid. I think the first part with the zoom-in is accurate but i'm still not sure about the Liberty island over-lay part though?

He seems to be assuming the streets in the 2 games can be compared 1:1 and that may not be the case. I don't think we have a accurate enough reference point to do that yet for a true 1:1.

I think he's referencing the size of the character, not the road.

Good question.
Along those same lines, I'm wondering if the smartphone will incorporate an iPod-type app, so that you'll be able to listen to your tunes (custom or otherwise) anywhere, instead of just on car/home stereos.

Being able to put your own music into the game would be epic. I enjoyed the music selection in IV but it would be nice to add music too.

So you couldn't play custom music in the background while driving a vehicle in IV on PS3?

I've never used custom soundtracks on either console. From what I can tell by brief googling, it seems to be on a game by game basis for the PS3.

The music is so big a part of the gaming experience, i think it would almost be like watching a movie with your own soundtrack as opposed to the films.

Probably preview copies for employees of the gaming companies and reviewers. There was also that issue of the hacked files from the digital preload that was on the PS store for European players. Some of these guys are playing then connecting to X-Box live and having their accounts suspended.

No telling. It could be they work for a retailer, know someone in the industry, or yea stolen haha.

Those hacked files were not playable, people only got the song list and some story spoilers out of them.

1) Anybody know how Franklin, Trevor and Michael share money, if at all? On the one hand, it'd be great and simple if all three PCs just have a shared bank account; but on the other, it wouldn't make sense in the game for Trevor, for instance, to have access to Michael's wealth to go buy himself an expensive suit or sports car.

I'm not sure if there's a way to transfer funds from one to the other, however.

I like that idea. I mean these are 3 very different people and R* is going to a great deal to show that. It only makes sense they'd keep their money seperate.

Definitely. I like the idea of Trevor having next to nothing, squandering his ill-gotten gains on hookers, booze, drugs, guns, etc -while Michael has plenty of money in the bank, wise investments and high-end purchases.

It'd just be odd if they all shared one lump sum.

I wonder if the characters spend your money while you're off being another character. Woudl be hilarious for Trevor to have a ton of money and next time you're him he's got none left but a sweet toy he blew it all on, lol.
