But that wasn't a tree joke, it's a fairly legitimate question.
Wood you fellas please take this somewhere else? A lounge maybe?
So who's pick up Bendis' Guardians of the Galaxy Origins: Star-Lord tomorrow?
Absolutely.Craig, can we make a GOTG forum lounge?
Has Chris Pratt made any sort of public appearance since being cast as Star Lord? I haven't heard anything from him yet. Usually you have actors going on about how they loved the character they're portraying since they were a wee lad(which I reaaaaally doubt is the case with Pratt).
If they are going to have him cameo in IM 3, he's going to have to slim down a bit. I mean we're probably not going to get a full body shot of Star Lord, but it would be kinda funny seeing Fat Pratt in Iron Man 3 and then skinny in shape Pratt in GotG.
So who's pick up Bendis' Guardians of the Galaxy Origins: Star-Lord tomorrow?
Today? At least give him 2 days. "Shortly" doesn't have to mean in a matter of minutes/hours.Take this with a grain on salt, but El Maybe's last tweet is "MARVEL FANBOYS! There have been some updates on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Expect breaking news shortly." If we don't get some by today I'm calling BS. Literally anyone can go "Big news on this movie thats in production, soon, I can't tell you now, but remember, you heard it here first!" and then when something hits they can be like "See, I told you last week that something big was gonna get announced!"
Well, Star Lord is half-alien. Maybe his cool alien powers include the ability to lose and gain huge amounts of weight within seconds.
I was defending LR a few weeks ago but even I'm starting to get tired of Mayimbe's supposed weekly "big scoops". It feels like he's only coming up with these scoops for more publicity for LR and their mail list. >.>
I'm not saying he's making it up, but it comes off as feeling like he posts any news he gets on the possible concept of films or casting and calls them "big scoops" for the sake of publicity.
