I kinda love that there's already this playful rivalry between Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers brewing in this thread banter. It enhances James Gunn's notion that the Guardians are the Rolling Stones to the Avengers' Beatles.

Heh, I remember Whedon talking about Gunn being picked for GotG and saying something like "he's gonna make a fantastic GotG film, and then I'm gonna make Avengers 2 and beat him."

Kevin Feige and the current Marvel team in general seem to like Ang Lee's Hulk a bit more. That's why we never got a complete retcon.

I love them all the more for it too.

I'm thinking the Gauntlet is a key of some kind and when the Gems are all in one place they transform into the gems we KNOW. In other words they're in the forms we've seen to be kept hidden easier
