What are the chances of nova being in this too? Pretty low?

I'm not against time travel but its hardly ever done right to my satisfaction at least in sci-fi. I just hope time travel, if it does have a part in this movie, that its a small one.

I think time travel is going to be a big part of it.

As long as we don't get into jumping back and forth and alternate timelines and all that, I'll be fine. I think it's far more likely Yondu is just an alien in their current timeline than from the 31st Century or whatever.

Yondu....????!?!?! :wow:

Holy frijole!

The 31st century is starting to sound a LOT more likely.

And maybe Rooker can pull double duty and still do the voice-acting for Rocket.

as I've been told :P

but seriously though, Vance Astro needs to happen.

Maybe the 31st century guardians will come back in time from a timeline where Thanos has destroyed the universe?

Who knows, only time and the movie will tell but I don't get the feeling we'll be seeing any more major players. 5 main characters is pretty much the right amount for an ensemble cast like this. Like Avengers and Power Rangers.:o

I still think Nova is in this too. I think I've said it since day one. It just makes too sense really to me at least.

I don't know of this character, but it seems very interesting. Possible time travel and alternate universes. Anxious to see if we get any hints of that type of stuff in IM3 or Thor2?

I could see that type of stuff being in Thor 2 before Iron Man 3.

post in here as welll.......

Moving on to the rumor of the day, my trusted industry source tells me that Marvel is eyeballing someone that they already have a relationship with for the lead in a confirmed Phase Three projects: Dr. Strange. The name? Actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux. There’s no word on whether or not he is the only name being looked at for the part of Stephen Strange, but I am told that there is a strong interest over at the House of Lee in seeing Seamus O’Grady become the Sorcerer Supreme.

Link? I actually dog that choice, though.

don't really recognize him from anything, but he looks the part.

I don't want him for Strange. Doesn't fit to me.

well, cast announcements may not necessarily mean "team members" they can have small roles. If Richard Rider is to show up, I would bet it would be a small part. I bet we'll see the Nova Corps

yeah, not too sure either. He looks too "badass MMA fighter" to be a scientist. Not too sure how I feel about that. Though I dont know anything he's been in, so I am sure I can be swayed

That's possible. That Yondu is contemporary to this day and age like the rest of 'em. But Marvel Studios have been pretty faithful to their mythology for the most part, so I'm (tentatively) betting that Yondu and any other "old schoolers" will, in fact, be from the far future.

Well Dr. Strange isn't a scientist, he's a doctor. And he's supposed to look and act like a ******** playboy before the accident. That being said, I hate the idea of Theroux as Doc Strange.

with time travel they could introduce a kang mention that might set him up for a later avengers movie. at the very least if we get time travel i hope it is via knowhere, i want to see the celestial head on screen.
