Horror Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein

They should put benches on the landings, lol. :p

You're both right. GRRM is actually Santa on a permanent fishing trip.
But does he has a summer house? And a Mrs Claus that looks like Cinthia Rothrock? And will anyone get the reference?

How did he sign on for a movie during an actor's strike

I assume he signed on beforehand and it simply hadn't been announced.

Yeah, that's usually how it goes. The movie will have wrapped filming for months and trades will say "(Insert name here) has joined (insert movie here)". The phrasing is silly because it makes it sound like it just happened.

Curious if this will be a readaptation of the novel or the "sequel" concept that GDT floated in the past.

Sucks that we have to wait two years for this.

I'd have preferred Garfield and Isaac's roles be the other way around but they're obviously killer casting this way as well.

Same. I originally thought it was Garfield as the monster and Isaac as the doctor to change it up a bit but they're both so good that it's interchangeable.

I feel like Garfield's Monster would go better with Goth's Bride, but we'll see.

Mia Goth will be the bride. That's great, she is great, fits perfectly, wonderful actress, but...

...Question:

The Bride of WHO????????

Will this movie pull a Branagh and have the bride be the bride of both????

Wasn’t there a stage production of Frankenstein a few years back were the actors playing Dr. Frankenstein and the Monster would swap roles back and forth for each show?

GDT needs to throw us a curve and give us two different cuts with that same premise.

Yep. That was Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller at National Theatre.

hope they go for the classic universal style (Boris Karloff) and not something like in that awful version with Robert De Niro and Helena Bonham Carter
