In all seriousness, please be careful. Stalkers [whether they're ex's or not] can be very scary and dangerous. I had a stalker a few years ago and it was probably the scariest thing I've ever felt. Always looking over my shoulder, not knowing what's going on, if that car that's been following me on the highway was him or if it was just someone going my way...

Keep your eyes and ears open. Invest in some pepper spray. Don't be by yourself in any situation. I'm serious. Bring a bathroom buddy.

edit: also, i'd file a complaint against the doorman. it's their job to notice who is coming in and out of the building to ensure the safety of the inhabitants and their property. he clearly did not do this.

I think that's the part that scares me the most. In order to see what I think he might have seen, David would have had to get up on the rooftop of one of the brownstones across the street and use binoculars at that. It's a bit of a stretch, ergo, I might be jumping to conclusions. But why else would he text me "Thanks for the entertainment?"

Unless he just watched Jason come into my building from a car on street level--and made an assumption. It's just as creepy. What Jason wanted to know is this: what happened to dinner with his own family? If it was truly him, wouldn't he still be with them at their home during that time frame?

Jason is not convinced that it's David, but he's not ruling it out because of the car access thing. Me? I'm f**king convinced.

I think you really need to talk to the police about David, he seems to have gone off the deep end. With the texts and now keying your car, it has to be him, there's no coincidence that both your and Jason tires were flattened.
